AS you can see from some of the photos above I am active internationally & have travelled as in enterprise or a supporter or charity organiser around more than half the planet, and most of the time, as a "stranger", "alien" , perhaps as a sort of universal "gypsy" - although I do have a strong connection to the people & community & world-famous football club of LIVERPOOL, I have no national bias - I do, for my own personal reasons wish (and sometimes succeed) to help people, particularly young or creative people, to have similar chances that I got or made for myself as ayouth...

Apart from  the experiences & contacts I co-ordinate an informal organisation fo football supporters (E.L.s.U.N) and we have through that & our "facebook" groups a potential global contact network of over 1 million supporters & fans, many of whom, I suggest , "have heart & SOUL"...<smile>

I feel  the youth club & "twinning" concept has a strategic growth to get global interest & reaction from "twin towns" their youth clubs, and sports associations and replace the budget with alternative initiatives (& sponsors) ...its a shame that the local authorities dont give locations for the clubs, but we  can "work around that problem" ...

I want to visit the local kids & youth clubs in Monty & the rest of the Balkans to & see how they react to english/football training ideas and "test" externally some ideas as I have recently made association with an organisation to develop & promote international contacts & relations with youth clubs who are interested in international development. there are also ideal facilties for weekend or holiday-education or adventure-style courses. can you help or participate in SOME small way????? - do YOU have a youth club contact in the Balkans - OR anywhere? because the project "My-Club" is a not-for-profit initiative that you will enjoy and will help understanding and youth development for ALL willing particpants. Montenegro  ("wild beauty") is becoming know as an enjoyable place to visit or holiday and there are many projects you could participate in, sports events, courses , adventure wekends etc etc.

the english media fussing about John Henry (NESV) fiancially involved in Liverpool football club and his wife who is constantly on "twitter" who were at the game sunday ; result LIVERPOOL 2 (Torres) "Chelski" 0

I commented in the "Liverpool Echo" (online news) that she is obviously in love with henry's sense of humour, he was obviiously joking about (keeping) hodgson ... ;) coach hodgson was employed by texan tom Hicks who had lied to supporters & bankes about his intended investmebts in our football club and has been resplced by
"NESV) who also own the "Boston REd sox" baseball team

 ..hodgson has no dignity and his tactics are not good for the future of a world-class team..he told lies about Rafa & Kenny (whom the supporters wanted) and insulted the "protesting supporters". I grew up with "Shanks" as manager and hodgson is as oppositie as a man can be from Bill Shankly's example..

for a change the hodgson deeper set up tended to work against a chelski team that prefer fast counter .despite the funny guy sitting in Rafas seat (please sit down roy because loyal supporters are trying to watch the game ;) true REDS should always encourage the team, support & believe that we can come back to the top, WE are the CLUB and WE are LIVERPOOL   ; before the game I said "win today and we are  only 10 points off the top " Lucas* , Pepe and "our kid"  Torres my Men of the match) with Kelly, Carra & Stevie G back in form.

* it has to be remembered that Lucas came as a young man into what then was considered "the best midfield in the world"  veery time he played he was compared to Xabi Alonso, Mascherano or Gerrard..he has grown with time and another signing of Rafa comes GOOD!..well done lad!

just to clarify the (much criticised ) 2 holding midfielders, the concept was/is that allows attacking wing backs to get forward ...of course "experts" like Brian Reade & Alan Kennedy (on Lfc Tv tonight)  wouldn't know that .......would they??? <smile>

hodgson's selection of 4 central midfielders and withdrawing a sharp looking Jovanovic at h-t v Napoli was beyond words (Milans confidence must have taken another knock?), thankfully SG showed how poor Napoli's defence were in the 2nd half or we may have been beaten.(even a child in the crowd could see that it should have been poulsen replaced) ..but ....his buddies in the media will blame "Rafas weak squad" when we lose and hodgson will be "convincing the team" when we win...the tactiics v the rent-boys will need to change IMO against wigan and stoke, but i dont think hodgson has a "plan b" ...so I am hoping that the team does it anyway!

but I feel the players ARE senior enough to carry the responsibility , almost despite hodgson..so is HE finding his feet, NO, Torres is getting back to his best, Stevies founf some form and Lucas is showing the quality Rafa saw in him..

I dont go for the living in the past criticism, it was only early last year (2009) that we were smashing real madrid & the mancs out of sight.(as we come the closest in 20 years to winning the league) .and UEFA stated that Lfc was the most succesful club of the previous  5 years (Rafa taking us to 2 Champions league finals , a semi & quarter final) ...if not for "politics" Rafa would be leading us to more glory ...whilst hodgsons selectiosn and press conferences make us cringe..the players won v chelski, hodgson didnt..

but I wish you guys well, and I hope that NESV dont  think we are going to be passive just because the disasterous duo have gone..I wont butter you up, mate, I believe NESV got a bargain..if we all work together...in the meantime, Tim, I have a little project with kids going on myself..do the Red sox have a youth team connection? The film moves forward to the civil war in Bosnia where "Guy" and Peter are now fighting for the Bosnian Serb army, stationed on a bridge separating the Bosnian Serbs and the Bosnians in a town. Guy mans a sniper post overlooking the bridge, and witnesses Peter's death when Peter drops his guard at a checkpoint and a young girl throws a grenade at him. Guy in turn shoots a child crossing the bridge.

Guy is then seen searching the Bosniak side of a village following a ceasefire along with a Bosnian Serb soldier Goran (Sergej Trifunovi?). In one house they find an elderly Bosniak woman who is confined to bed and shell-shocked. Guy also finds a dead woman in the same room and a sleeping baby who has been hidden in a wardrobe but does not inform Goran who hacks a finger off the old woman in order to steal her ring.

After they leave the house a helicopter attacks the village. As Goran takes cover Guy stays out in the open and returns to the house, seemingly to find the baby, but finds that both the child and the old lady have been killed by falling rubble. Later, Guy and Goran prepare for a prisoner exchange with the Bosnian Army forces. Goran brags that he's repeatedly raped the female captive they are taking to the exchange, who is the daughter of his father's Bosniak employer. When Guy points out that Bosniaks do the same to Bosnian Serb women, Goran responds "our women are stronger." When they arrive at the exchange point one of the young Serbian women prisoners being exchanged, Vera (Nataša Ninkovi?), is visibly pregnant. Guy and Goran take her in Goran's car and they head towards her village.

In the car Goran is abusive towards Vera for becoming pregnant by a Bosnian Army soldier even though Guy points out that she was almost certainly raped. Goran eventually orders Guy to stop the car in a tunnel. He throws Vera out of the car and begins to kick her as she lies on the ground. The assault forces Vera into premature labor. As Goran prepares to shoot the soon-to-be-born child, Guy shoots and kills Goran. He then helps deliver her baby. When he shows Vera the child she rejects it and attempts to shoot herself before Guy manages to stop her.

They continue to her village where she is rejected by her family due to the shame felt by her father. They leave the village with Guy, intending to head for a refugee camp where Vera and the baby would be looked after. Vera continues to reject the child and does not communicate with Guy. After being told by Goran's family that Goran's body has been found and that Guy must have killed him, Vera's father and brother head off in pursuit of them. They eventually catch up with them when they stop to get milk for the child. Guy is shot and injured, but Vera places herself between him and her father as he goes to kill him, and her father backs off and allows them to leave.

They briefly return to Vera's village to find it has been attacked, and have to watch from a distance as her family and other villagers are rounded up and led away by Bosnian Army fighters. Guy decides to head for the safety of the UN zone in Split on the Dalmatian Coast. On their way they stop and take refuge with an elderly Croatian man and his Serbian wife. The old man tells Guy "before the war [Serbs and Croats] no difference and now, stupid," pointing to his head to show madness.

After moving on they reach what they think is a relatively safe area. Vera leaves Guy and the child to rest in an abandoned and half-sunk boat on the edge of a lake while she goes to find a bus that will take them to Split. Vera is captured along with other civilians by soldiers of Croatian Defence Council. The Croat soldiers take their prisoners to the waterfront where Guy is hiding in the boat. One soldier then proceeds to beat several to death with a sledgehammer, including Vera, as they stand in the water. The fighters shoot those that are left as Guy witnesses the slaughter from inside the boat but can do nothing without giving himself and the child away. He smothers the baby in order to keep her quiet as the soldiers prepare to leave. She stops breathing but he manages to successfully resuscitate her.

He eventually makes his way onto a bus that takes them to Split where he leaves Vera's baby in an unattended UN vehicle before walking to a pier, throwing his gun in the water and collapsing on a bench. A woman who was on the bus with him and saw him place the baby in the car approaches him, carrying the girl and offering to help them. When she asks if the baby is his, Guy replies that she is and the woman promises to take them both to hospital.

I enjoyed a lot of what * PT has written, although I feel over analytical about some aspects of football, which are beyond explanation. However, lately, since maybe the "JW" meeting, he is trying too hard to be "fair". He had a golden chance to explain to Henry why hodgson is not up to it, and its not only about "judge me after 10 games" hodgson is not setting up the team as he should but his overall demeanour is opposite to the perceived "Liverpool Way", so much so that having a another name chanted against him by core supporters so soon, and core supporters forums listing the 10 worst "royisms" so far

..in contrast Lfctv (who have been "pro-hodgson spinning" since the start of the season) will be showing "6 minutes of madness" tonight and will associate our club with a magical night that will bind us forever to Rafa Benitez, no matter what perceptions some fans have (or been told) of his "errors" (bearing in mind his "freak season" came at a time when he had to cope with a hostile xenophobic media & untold nasty things going on behind the scenes) ..the absolute disgust of 90% of the true supporters of Lfc with hodgson is incredible.

we live with the "fast food" generation sky-conditioned on instant success, but its not the fickle fans calling for hodgsons immediate departure, it is life-long Reds like myself, Fat Scouser & the like, I held back my concerns in the early weeks, knowing that if I instantly came out and attacked him I would be accused by some as a "Rafa lover" and yet I now hate myself for not "going public" earlier. hodgson himself opened the door to be "distanced" as soon as he objected to our protests v the yankers which was just an obvious sign that he was nowhere near being on our wavelength.

I am concerned about the situation of commercial pollution of the minds of people and more particularly youth who are "sold" into the "bling" generation = "image" is everything money and financial status rather than honesty or any moral values; the general apathy & acceptance of the lies of commercial obsession and media domination of our mindset is scarey, it brought to remember almost 30 years ago, a lads impression of the who's "we wont get fooled gain" is truer now than it was then?...(lyrics above)

I was plased when veli & the lads joined me at delboys, its a time of the year when memories come back, my estranged daughters birthday next week, and Jaqui s birthday too, i miss them both

LFC won 3-0 against a weak WHam, but it cheered me up some,
(goals from Johnson, Dirk  (after Torres caused them to handle the ball for the pen) & a  Maxi header!

On sunday I caught up with an english tv film 4 fathers (which always sits deep with me) & the theme music

I met young Nick from jonkoping who is with Forum-MNE the  Charity I promote here  we were discussing the "customers services" at the nearby train station and after a coffee had a bite to eat at "Alan ford" which I hadn't heard of before..aparently its a comic trip, its funny like "dinner for one" (the old tv prog shown every year on german (& swedish) tv new years night, Some english things are only discovered during "travels"..we met Slobo & Zoran at delboys but not a late night..

Some "fans" wanted to give "imposter-chairman" martin broughton a "fond farewell" , but not me...because he should never have been employed at our club.and was involved in the replacement of my friend Rafa  by hodgson &  was employed under tHicks & co..he like hodgson is not our manager, not our man!

It could & should have made it 6 but of course instead of replacing a tiring attacker with a fresh one hodgson puts on a defender ..as if wham were causing any risk of scoring against us..we could have been back where w eleft off last season (7th)..rh just dont get it..but well played lads for the first half..

Ngog looked sharp, maxi played well meireles too Skrtel & Carra sound, Johnson attacked well, Torres looked a but like still carrying injury & Dirk too...poulsen didnt make many mistakes but wham were awaful, ddint show any desire, looked like us against Stoke, and the test will be how we play @ WHL next weekend...

2. make a list every evening before leaving of your 6 most important (and difficult) "things to do" and DO them , worst first

I have asked the "ex-pats" to help me make a "curry evening" in Pg, as I dont want to be seen as a "lone wolf" at such evenings! - but then I expect all the "office" to join my party!!

on the 28th November , my estranged little girl Noela will be 9 years old, I have not held her in my arms like a good father should, since SIX years ago,when she was ABDUCTED by her mother & heavies during an ambush in the woods near our home (french Alsace farmhouse) may 2004 ..her german mother(margit) disappeared, and after losing a court case ran off with Noela, when we tracked her down in 2008 to Dublin, she flipped again , lied to police and kicked the presents I had for Noela into the street...

I spent far too much of my earlier life in the higher echelons of business management after my own company's success making me ("on paper") a millionaire before I was 30.  I proceeded to "match-make" companies across half the globe. Prior to a meningitis-induced coma, I had spent 7 years developing a network innovation to connect around 300 partners companies in 45 lands with over 500 on-line services, and through this latter project I "mixed" it with muti-nationals (global corporations)  many of them owned or managed by the "harvard" mentality.
 

I found a common "madness" in their business methods that all the budding entrepreneurs out there will hate me for criticising..its the "winning is everything" mentality, financial success and number crunching being at the centre of their "strategy"...the "numbers" must add up. However, if you look around you, ("Liverpool one" is an example) you will see some of the result, "senior" experienced people are dumped in favour of "youth" - "franchised" business replaces local culture & its local "mentality" (wth "chain-stores" selling hamburgers to clothes & coffee) these number-crunchers & bean-counting yankers, have influenced the banking/financial world, and the youth "culture" of bling, (even 50c best-selling book "get rich or die young" infects the media.) the fast-food generation must be fed the BullSh*te 24/7 !?
 

NO! (please!) when they take over a business or anything, (the USA military version needs no explanation!) ..they want to subdue all opposition or get it in-fighting. "old heads" with contacts and own will will be disposed or paid off . they'll adopt abitious young executives who are either too keen or too scared to question the owners. They will pay "lip service" to local traditions whilst steadily replacing those who might argue with "YES" men...starting to get the picture..?
 

MY UNION..."SoS"? (I wont use their full name because the title doesnt fit with the weak acceptance of the developments that are destroying Lfc since 3 years.) The occasional protest, many of which came from supporter initiative outside of the "committee" was rare & late. My own insistence 2 years ago, that the co-operation & share ownership scheme was either ignored or ridiculed by several on the committee and their mates in their "local clique".
 

My motives were questioned without any evidence that I have ever wished anything other than an equal & transparent management of the club we love. I offered my time FREEly, it was ignored, so has Henry done anything more than "slick PR" ..does that make him any LESS (or more?) of a danger to the essence, that I and many thousands if not millions of REDS globally,  love about LIVERPOOL FC?
 

key points:
 

* I obviously have no allegiance to "bull in a china shop" hicks & co..but YES ; 300 million IS a "bargain" for a global billion-dollar value entity "brand" (made by US, the global supporters)
 

* The departure of G & H ceated a euphoria that meant almost anyone would have been "welcomed" (except it seems, for many, the "SoS-SL" proposal, why?)
 

*With the prior removal of Rafa, and the "boxing" of Kenny as a "lovable ambassador" (rather than an experienced & capable manager far exceeding that of RH) 2 major voices were silenced.
 

*Apparently the "broker" who introduced G & H also introduced NESV, enough reason for doubts.
 

*The retention of the back-stabbing Purslow and the fool hodgson - has also an effect of ensuring that NESV will have insiders only too willing to "report" dissent
 

*The appointment of "Damien" (avoiding the jokes) plays to the "dictated concensus" method too, (it also ensures that Kenny's influence will be watered down (either as King of the Kids or as potential Director of football)
 

"Major dressing room personalities Agger; Pepe, Torres, Johnson who may have allegance to dissent or be ready to speak up if NESV enforce a cull of individualism have been (often publicly) castigated, either by hodson or (his buddies) in the media,
 

"The purslow/hodgson transfers in replaced younger or youth players with Cole & Konch (via the "kings road mafia"?) poulsen ( a "hodgson boy") & meireles (who was too quick to publicly praise hodgson on LFC, before he had kicked a ball, in anger)
 

The role of purslow with Carra & Stevie G I will leave alone for the moment, that saga will come out in time - IN CONCLUSION I see no reason why ANY MEMBER should be encouraged to participate in "planning" of which the highly paid minions of NESV will use either for Lfc or aganst MY goals, that is that WE, ARE the CLUB and WE shoudl be at LEAST equal (not minority) partners in the share of its rewards & that could begin (if Henry wants to really impress with his "PR" ) with the GLOBAL REDS Supporters (SoS/SLfc/HsaveLFC/ELsUN) Leading the decisions about the re-building/renovation of Anfield. (and the removal immediate of hodgson replaced by "care-taker" Dalglish)

Spirit of Shankly were pleased to meet with NESV representatives following their invitation to do so as a result of their successful takeover of Liverpool Football Club.

The engagement with the Union by the new owners effectively sees the start of a new era for the Club and the Union. As such, this is a good time for us to consider and review the Union’s role, remit and strategy development. With this in mind the Union Management Committee have undertaken some preliminary work in looking at the current Union position and how this can be developed going forward.

However, as always, we need to consult with our members and ask what role members see the Union playing in the future. We also need to address those issues considered important by members in the short, medium and long term that they wish to see the Union Management Committee working towards.

We would like members to consider the review proposals detailed below and to engage with us over the issues as we see them and to confirm their approval, seek amendments or make alternative suggestions. We would aim to consider all responses in a timeframe that allows us to probably call an EGM on the 18th December where we would hope to have a representative of NESV present following which we will further develop our strategy for members’ approval.

The starting point for this review is the Union aims and objectives (detailed at http://www.spiritofshankly.com/) – the Management Committee view is that these remain relevant and appropriate and subject to agreeing the priority for the current challenges the Club and Union face, they should remain unchanged.

The Management Committee consider the three issues most important to members relating to the Club at the present time (and a fourth issue solely relevant to the Union) are as follows:

I am equally dismayed that we have to openly show our distaste for an obviously inept man, to get the message across, and chant for Kenny in desperation. Dont blame supporters, its just a pity we  were not so reactive when  we had a (brief) chance of owning our club..cancer sometimes can be  diagnosed early and cut away, but often if left,  it spreads,&  its hard to remove..if NESV really want to prove their "class" an intelligent and mutually beneficial act will be to SHARE LFC with supporters, as partners, not as minority stakeholders or customers of a branded franchise, and it worries me more that , despite meetings with SoS, Tomkins & all, that purslow & hodgson are still around.

The Night before leaving Pg (Monty) I had a really nice fish meal with Di & Nick from the local kids charity as I recently started to volunteer for them it was nice to meet them socially, after theer was a concert with a young band who mixed up covers of various rock classics , modern & local music like "moldy bread" (this Lucas would fit that song, although the lyrics fit poulsen more <smile>)

so I planned to meet Luky at Beograd station, the overnight bus wasnt full but I didnt sleep much, but pleased to see the young Red, although his mums sickness (get well Soon !) meant we  would not be staying at the family home but the plan was to stay at Red mates in Beograd.and that meant I was going to learn more about this once celtic city...(in fact Luky showed me around the fortress as a reminer of the city's long and dramatic story.

We went looking for a Liverpool pub, but we couldnt find Anfield in Belgrade, so we found a typical "local" and over a few glasses of Rakija made our team selections using empty glasses, there was more common sense on that table, that afternoon, than in 20 of hodgsons "team tactics"..and then Luky took me to meet Olivera at "Dorian Gray caffe! , a chique cafe - restaurant in the old town, we shared a bottle of wine and exchanged some stories, very very nice attrattive lady is "OB2" , enjoyed meeting a "facebook friend" for the first time who proved from exchanged messages prior, that she is worth knowing.and then her hubby and another friend joined us before going to "beauty" cafe-pub where we met more friends (smil & Ves) and the little hostess who became my dance partner that night, although I danced with just about everyone (including a very attractive young blond who "challenged" me with her "moves" before Luky and Pepi (a fanatical west ham fan) joined us to sing songs until the early hours (Stefan drunk a fair bit of beer, as he showed me in the tram later, before I crashed out at his flat)

With us not sleeping much we decided to watch the game @ spurs on "sportklub tv"  , Luky and I were shattered by the difference between our attacking play of the first half and the defensive second half, (hodgsons "motivation" at half time) that Skrtel scored both goals , one in their net and one in ours seems significant..(spoof and ironic pics of hodges are because he is NOT our manager , true REDS dont slag off managers & players who WE employ but HE , like Purslow is from the corrupted "yanker" regime..)

Stefan-Pepis band mates joined us MUCH later and we listened to hard metallic , although I tried to sleep!, they did play some of my utube monthy python comedy choices and a couple of tracks of "My music" ( George Benson' s nature boy  & "roundabout" ("YES")

On monday I left Pepi's and found a nice cafe (I mean just for coffee, and snacks ) called "JazzyYoga" with great coffee and atmosphere, but then luky who hadnt slept much at all, even less than me, had a siesta which seemed to last all night, so I went to meet BO , and "Central-heating" (C-H) with Lukys flatmate Niko and we moved from park caffe to "Beauty" again where we partied all night with Tanja (who wants to be dutch) Anja who danced with me and a lass who seemed to like "C-H"..Tuesday was quiet we met Luky and then went back to "C-H" to watch WHam beat the mance 4-0 ..fergie was so happy..lol..

From "C-H" we went to pick up Luky and met the rest of the Balkan Reds "SerBoys magnificent 7"
we started to sing, with me "conducting" at the station cafe and despite bizzies attention we were on the train and "warming up"
 
 

The train left about 16h from Beograd station, & after singing YNWA to the Serbian border guards (by special request of their boss) we tried to nap, before arriving at Bucharesti Nord station around 07h ..happy to have booked @ the nearby hotel, although 8 people in 2 small rooms was a bit "tight"

We had a nap, and david & C-H went to change money whilst Luky and I looked for the cafe, and after a stange silent non-welcome by the people we brunched elsewhere, but not before laughing at 2 of the lads being chased by a nasty little dog, (but the woman looked more scarey),  then made our way to the Tavern pub..a long walk, with some of the boys suffering in the rain, before being the first to arrive at the Romanian Reds club room downstais,,then I got the news that Stevie B that  his flight cancelled like at least half the away supporters might not get to the game (Steve had tickets for me, as the one from Lfc had been sent to me too late, despite paying for "express post" )

so I made do with the watching in the club room with some SteauA fans , irish David, Virginian John & young Drac,,a draw was fair and the TV interview of me was on TV and our boys going crazy, and the match cameraman flashed to "my sons" when serbian La-Ne (Jovanovic) scored our goal..

Only half our support had made it, but the Lads came back after the game, freezing cold from the open stadium and after a few bevvies, more Tv interviews and a meal most of them were "ready" to go back to hotel, where 2 SteauA lads wanted a LFC scarf which "C-H" exchanged for one of theirs ...and I got chatting to them , good lads, one of them went to get beer and then I joined int he singing of tim & chris (scousers) also  in reception , so we sat there , then "Chef"  joined us, before I finally gave in and went up , a crowded bedroom and at one time "cuddles" wanted to get friendly in bed,,he says it was dreaming, it was fortunate that I was awake and could escape his "fantasy" <smile> We checked out Friday morn and walked aroufn a bit and had a terrible meal at a romanian restaurant (just a bad cook I hope) before relaxing at the Lfc bucharest fans club room , playing darts ("killer") watching Lfc TV etc , and despite a slight "drama" caused by waiting for a Tv news article about us and "forgetting" our collective responsibility for a moment, we were well in time after a short trip to the "Gare de Nord" mainline station on the (very new looking) metro..

We snacked nearby and got on our train at around 21h a few bevvies , a few songs and much more sleep by the lads, I had an enjoyable talk with "chef" about his journeys on board as a ships cook..picked up by overnight bag from Lukys flat (BIG thanks to LUKY for all your "hosting organisation") and made the 12.30 bus to Pg, but no one told about the "well known" block of the road on the way to "Monty" and we were kept waiting in the cold at Bertane for a 3 hr delay, the driver seemd lost as he tried to use  a different road, and I got a deja vu as we seemed to be going round and round (or maybe it was my tired state of mind after 28hrs travelling on the last part of my trip) something peculiar happened, although all the passengers were checked at the border coming in from Serbia, a TRAFFIC cop stopped the bus, and got on board, walked straight up to MY seat, checked my paSSport and then went on his way, this is int he middle of nowhere, in snow and ice, just me being checked, am I paranoid? who me, remember "just because you are paranoid, it dont mean they arent out to get you!"

This rough week Began with a win on a monday night game against Villa, their "soft" opposition perhaps made the REDS look stronger than we are, but 3-0 is a pleasing scoreline, although Pepe had to be at his best to protect the 0 and acheive the admirable record of the fastest 100 "clean sheets" (zero goals against in a game) in LIVERPOOL fc , history. My favourite (and IMO) best LFC goalkeeper todate ; Ray Clemence was fantastic, in a largely fantastic team, and should we rid ourselves of the "heavy load" of the yankers ownership I hope Pepe's committment to LFC , his attitude and ability is rewarded with the trophies we hunger for..(Lfc 3-0 villa ;Ngog , Babel Maxi )  Good to see Babel showing form & as I noticed a couple of seasons ago @ PSV in the champions league Ngo-al & Ryan seem to play well together.

We have a great club, built by great Support of great players and managers, but the "office" has so often let us down, typically my SteauA ticket turns up..too late..as with The LFC online shop that "bouced" my xmas order for Leon/Noela..no answer to my complaint ..as usual! So, I at least printed pictures & send xmas cards to ..Leon & Noela (care of..Sterifeneder Birken str 94119 Reisbach-Oberhausen in the hope...)

Friday night I planned an "early one" to rest before the saturday Bazaar (helping the Brit. Embassy stand raise money for the local Childrens Hospital) BUT....................about 20h the power went out, I met Zoran then "wolverine" and got home @ 03h ...on saturday I woke up before 07h..so it was some "effort" to stand up all day at the stand /..where I met EU peter /elaine, Ana, lianne , Kate (ambassador-ess) Tamara/Charles (who was the best santa) , Roger (also santa) & wife & another Roger with family; Veli & janko visited and "won" th =e KOP annual and I met "Unicef" Noala (scouser!) & hubby (a manc) Dawn A-B( Eu with 2.5 m euros to invest in the K-city) ? & Helen who gave me a lift to the "residence" (I was a "late invitee" <smile>..I wonder why?)
& after invited  Helen, "stacey" (anastasia) & Tatjana (achitect) for a couple of bevvies  ..her birthday NEXT

First let me clarify in the cold light of day, I have NO "agenda" neither political, business or religious/ethnic ...I wont bother sending you a "CV" because either you "get it", or you dont, I am not applying for a job, I KNOW that I am RIGHT .the question os how much are you prepared to do to put things right that are wrong, Now, rather than wait 10 or 20 years whilst "the process|" hurts affected people who suffer and bigots & such continue their illusion of self-protection?

(I expect NO reward , merely recompense of any actual costs / expenses I might incurr, probably none)

I hereby outline my basic proposal (but would gladly, no urge you,  to meet you to "field" your opposition...)

1. NO construction @ K-city, instead invest in "alternatives"

2. Employ a VERY effective human rights lawyer who speaks serbian and who I could "co-ordinate" with (thats maybe the most difficult choice of all)

3. Apply equal rights (no lip service!)  to the society in "Monty" ...including a low-budget awareness campaign that might even include something as basic as "RED NOSE day" to send a clear message..

4. dont build these people new homes,(eventual ghetto) there is available accomodation spread all over Monty, ensure that an org (such as forum mne) backs up (supports ) each and every job application or rental application or credit application that any one of these people apply for, (see point 2 above!)

5. support for a limited period a "creative centre" (or centres) where people like myself and forum can offer informal education and self-development of own ideas (inc company start-ups) and a meeting point for "all groups" not just from K-city inviting all parts of the community because the common mistake of almost all modern govt is to segregate, old, young, immigtrants or refugees , because incapable or unwilling politicians or their employees find it "easier" to manage , however results prove that society is a mess thanks to the lack of humane intelligance globally..

is that enough of a start to warrant meeting over a coffe in pg soon..because now you asked me. i am an impatient man!

    I can understand why people want to avoid emotional reaction..but some basics truths need to be addressed
    - NESV are in it for the money, whilst they seem sympathetic and caring about our traditions, they are money-people first , sports fans after
    - the got "LFC" or the company behind it at a "bargain" , as properly managed we could bring in a billion on global revenue

    we underestimated our own strength and whilst SoS remains "quiet" our European Organisation is unhappy that our brothers in Liverpool dont see the dangers or have accepted the "Henry PR"

...Its clear that NESV are stretched to finance 2 major sports clubs like Red sox and Lfc and its doubtful that they would betray the american version for our benefit, so IF their intentions are honourable, and I do say IF, then they could ensure mutual loyalty by issuing 50% of the share value to us, to be acquired say until year 2020 by global Reds ..150 million shares, with say a value of GBP each and maximum of 500 shares per fan, and only one vote per fan.

    then we would build our voice and provide funds for stadium development/renovation , players, youth accademy/scouting network and also ensure our fans "sell" our club, of course , they wouldnt buy replica kits from outsiders, each rogue trader could be brought "inside" as a shareholder..

    much more intelligent and socially acceptable than the normal USA "franchise" ...but who cares enough to enforce this ?? the SoS committee are happy it seems to be "courted" by Henry & co, ShareLFC have not fulfilled promises of a fund, and most involved just chat about our problems whereas the above is a "solution"..

Hodgson isn't doing too bad for us now though is he? Alright we started the season badly, but look at us now! Tonight we had a good win at home without Gerrard, Carrra & Torres. Give Roy a chance until the transfer window closes he needs the fans behind him as much as the players do!!

Luckily I had left Pg early, around 18h ..because the road was blocked at Cetinje (snow and ice, and people from both directions trying to squeeze through) Our bus driver waited, but some idiots were overtaking and trying to get through, without tolerance or give and take, causing more problems. but after an hour the plough cleared the snow and despite a taxi driver giving me the "tour" I saw Brit Helen & Nicola (manc!) walking towards the pub, we were first, then teachers Svetlana (Niksic) & Danka , who apart from a few words with Helen at the beginning, were isollated from the others, I tried to "mix it" with them, but my local langauge is limited and they spoke no english, was the first time I had met any woman over 30 in a "monty"  bar, so I was "curious"..

"Sharon & Tracey" arrived (Tat & Anast.or "Stacey") a good hour late (of course)  with one tall guy (as usual) and 2 other girls whio never said a word to me or the other Brits and Ivana, a colleague of Tat, with whom I talked a lot, seemed a nice lass. I met Colm the manager, chatted about summer camp  (an irish manager in an Irish pub is rare these days) & Vijana (who said I could stay in her room, joking) and then around midnight Helen & Nicola (3 kids 2, 4 & 12) left, with the 2 teachers, and then the "silent 3" and so S & T took "Andra" (from Oz?) and myself elswhere, I expected some late night pub or club, as I said to Tat we should go dancing but we went to an all night restaurant to eat, it was about 03hrs when we left and took Tat home..and Stacey took me to the "Spendid hotel" thinking I wanted to go there, maybe, but not to drink alone, so she dropped me back at the station where I spent the next 2 hrs chatting to manager Milos, about travel, cultural/lifestyle differences between GB & Monty and caught the first bus, (which "struggled" back over the mountain road, in fresh snow, and ice, where the melted snow had frozen)

but I am sending this anyway, as John Henry nor Thos Werner answered my letters so far, I QUESTION their motives ..

As I do not believe the validity of your ownership of our club at all...I am obviously perceived as "radical" however ....

1. WHY haven't you PUBLICLY got behind Supporters Share ownership, as you claim to have limited financial resources??? .... by issuing 150 Million shares, to be taken up by our global supporters (max 500 shares and 1 vote each shareholder) you could create a loyal partnership that would inject funds steadily over the next 10 years and renovate Anfield and the team, ensuring no opposition and protest that your endorsement of Purslow & Hodgson is likely to cause!

2. As you have met the likes of Tomkins and "SoS" etc , how could you possibly employ a man who is so OBVIOUSLY contrary to our spirit & mentality, its an insult and a scandal to have a weak man like Hodgson speaking for LFC, let alone selecting our team.

3. Its clear that you got a bargain, ( potential billion dollar network for 300 million) do you realise that IF you were to include supporters as shareholders we could work on bringing "rogue traders" on board globally and utilising our UNofficial network of supporters & fan clubs as "outlets"??

4. Do you think we dont notice the "spin" in the Lfc office press releases or on the official website or how LFCtv "filter" anti hodgson opinions (95% of core suupporters want him gone, but if you only watch Lfctv you think its only 5% that want hinm out!!)

In between the power cuts, earlier in the week I had spent several hours writing to make Eu, UN  & other orgs representatives that I had met in the Bazaar event / residence party what should be done, but with the usual "blah blah" response. The other "problem" is that local people, despite severe problems in some aspects" wont accept outside advice, stubborn?, stupiidity? or pride?..?

On Wednesday we suffered the "bad joke" that is now Hodgson "son of Bodge"  whereby  he again contradicted himself, Lfc giving free tickets to get kids to fill up the stadium for a "dead rubber" game v Utrecht (their words not mine, because every time Lfc play it shoudl be an "event" for promoting the "Liverpool way" not "written off") Hodgson promised to play Reina & Torres , kids were disappoiinted as neither did and hodgson;s 8 man defensive tactics bored everyone, although admit that Utrecht came to stifle the game,they still caused a few moment of concern) I was very pleased that Nina (Tuzla) is building the website for our Balkan Reds Supporters Union.,.@ http://www.lfcbalkan.tk/

16th december Adam 12 years gone....I am in a a mood, yesterday would have been my son Adams birthday.  he died in hospital, indirectly caused by drugs related sickness. accident in hospital and covered up.. not a good time for me, I only think about all those people no longer in my life..have to get some distraction..so, to kill off my mood, I proposed to meet Zor & Slob @ Delboys thursday, was releatively quiet, "kittens dont come out in the cold " he said, as the only people in the cafe were lads. My drinking buddies (I dont even know where they live!) got bored but I got tapped ont he shoulder and there was xxx ready to dance! , I was so shocked that i didnt react, then later had a couple of fast and one "smoocie" dance with her, she fits perfectly, and is light as a feather, but she was with 2 lasses & a couple of young guys, who definately could NOT dance, but probably have the "image" , I get the feeling that women get attracted to me, then pull back because I dont (or wont) fit the image they want or need to fit the local "prestige society" which is what I call the "calafornia disease ; BMW in the garage, but nothing in the larder".

I always liked what Brian Reade writes since I read his book "44 years..." but you're quite right in pointing out that his argument is flawed and self-defeating.

I have yet to understand what is holding back the owners from appointing Kenny as a temporary caretaker. There isn't any other reasonable solution. Hodgson is here on a 3-year contract after all, while it may be expected that he is here for the short-term, it isn't explicitly understood. We simply cannot wait for the team, results, morale and etc to get worse under him. It's past breaking point and we need someone else to take over as soon as possible. The damage has already been done and it simply can't get much worse. We are 12 points off United (who have one more game to play) and 6 points away from the relegation zone. We may as well be managerless. Sack Roy and make Kenny caretaker (and bring back Pako?) now, let him and all the fans know that it is temporary until they find the right man to be appointed for the long term.

...I have supported Liverpool for more than 40 years, and what is often forgotten already is that hodgson was appointed by thicks & co, they were frauds and so is hodgson, time after time he makes excuses and twists facts & last night again, a prime example thousands of kids encouraged to come to Anfield, and they see this old codger playing his 8 men defensive tactics (watch it again to see how deep we played, at home!) against an average dutch side..he apologises (again) to his buddies in the media, but...

my own reasons for removing hodgson now, is not only results, and "stats" which Paul always concentartes so much on , but mentality.

I would make him apologise to each and every supporter, because he is dragging us down to his level, its so obvious to 95% of us, yet journos and ex-players (who want an english manager at all costs?) big him up, and now Paul , even in a small way is "defending" hodgson, that is hypocritical and disgusting because they are putting their personal bias before the wishes of the vast majority of LFC Supporters, and the essence of our club, this is the first time in my life i have ever been ashamed of an LFC "manager" .

... IMO Henry, who carefully said little on monday night, and Werner (who, worringly , as he is "chairman" reperated a "purslowism" by ridiculously comparing hodgsons pathetic away record, with Rafa!) , & therefore I make the case that fenway" are to blame, they took on something they know almost nothing about, have listened to Purslow and not us,,,overlooked Kenny, endorsed hodgson, appointed "damien" who also "admires" hodson (enough said?), a loser who has won nothing of significance ..which completely contradicts the aclaimed NESV "we are winners" mantra (& VERY slick) " PR " ...but fits perfectly into the previous LFC office/LFCtv"spin" which is now sickening.. when you complain , REDmates, direct your bile at the source ..the owners have the power to correct the hodgson error....so, are they naive , or clueless, or ..worse?

Just by playing the "devils advocate" and suggesting that, just because we hated the texan so much, we should not automotaically welcome in the "bargain hunters" of NESV without severely examining their motives & actions (or lack of) is supposedly disloyal and knee-jerking? and we are "ranting"? ..what was done to Rafa was wrong, and hodgson didnt care about stepping into "dead mans shoes" but this is a different case, hodgson is simply wrong for LFC , maybe Paul is somewhat jealous of the ability of internet activists to have a say, well Paul, of course we haven't been able to chat with him over lunch, but perhaps you failed to explain our ethics, whilst instead chatting about "stats" with Henry. These are not kids that are screaming with frustration at almost every (non)action or mis-speech of the "son of bodge"

..We are loyal Reds and life long REDS (not kids) whose daily lives are hurting with this mess, but are well able to articulate our disgust at the original employment and worse, the continued employment of hodgson a man who should not be employed one day longer, not least for the results, the tactics and his defeatist mentality is opposite to Shanks and so far to make the comparison between tHicks & co & NESV, we have so far exchanged the captaincy from a mad man to a blind man...(the latter may have better intent but the damage is the same) so far neither have proven cable to steer us away from the iceberg!

Its better to re-start now, than next summer..to limit damage, anyone with any sense, can see that, et tu Paul?

3 questions of mine that were "blocked"..

1. WHY haven't you PUBLICLY got behind Supporters Share ownership, as you claim to have limited financial resources??? .... by issuing 150 Million shares, to be taken up by our global supporters (max 500 shares and 1 vote each shareholder) you could create a loyal partnership that would inject funds steadily over the next 10 years and renovate Anfield and the team, ensuring no opposition and protest that your endorsement of Purslow & Hodgson is likely to cause!

2. As you have met the likes of Tomkins and "SoS" etc , how could you possibly employ a man who is so OBVIOUSLY contrary to our spirit & mentality, its an insult and a scandal to have a weak man like Hodgson speaking for LFC, let alone selecting our team.

3. Its clear that you got a bargain, ( potential billion dollar network for 300 million) do you realise that IF you were to include supporters as shareholders we could work on bringing "rogue traders" on board globally and utilising our UNofficial network of supporters & fan clubs as "outlets"??

Liverpool’s new owners secured the club for a cash payment of less than £218m, recently filed company documents reveal.

The precise figure that principal owner John W Henry, club chairman Tom Werner and their New England Sports Ventures group paid for the equity in the club is contained in a slew of Companies House filings made in the two months since the Boston Red Sox owners took control at Anfield.
NESV won control of the club after former chairman Martin Broughton successfully forced through the sale against the wishes of former owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.According to the filings NESV paid £217,778,550 for the equity in the club, effectively the amount Hicks and Gillett owed to principal lender Royal Bank of Scotland.

They also assumed responsibility for debts to RBS of around £83m, taking the transaction value to a round £300m.

The loans, secured against Anfield and the club’s Melwood training ground, are in two parts, one relating to the new stadium project and the other a rolling credit facility.

The company filings and a posting on the club’s website also reveal, somewhat surprisingly that, like their predecessors, Henry and Werner have an equal say in decision making at Anfield, sharing 50% of the voting rights in the company. The statement on the club website reads: “John Henry and Tom Werner are the ultimate owners of The Liverpool Football Club and Athletic Grounds Limited (the Club), each owning 50% of the voting rights in the Club.”The revelation that the new owners have, like Hicks and Gillett, an equal share in decision-making has prompted fears that any dispute could destabilise the club. Hicks and Gillett each owned 50% of Liverpool’s equity, meaning their disputes ended in debilitating deadlock until the intervention of RBS and Broughton.

A spokesman for the club told the Daily Telegraph that the owners believe there will be no repeat of that situation despite the 50-50 split of voting rights.
He said the longstanding working relationship between Henry and Werner, and Henry’s “prevailing economic interest” in the club effectively gives him the casting vote, meant there would be no repeat of the Hicks and Gillett situation. “John W Henry and Tom Werner are close friends and confer repeatedly on all issues relating to Liverpool Football Club,” the spokesman said. “They have worked together for 10 years at the Boston Red Sox without disagreement, and will continue to work together going forward.

“Were there to be any dispute principal owner John Henry has the prevailing economic interest and would have the means to resolve any issue.”
The company filings reveal that NESV’s ownership of Liverpool is held via a new UK-registered holding company, UK Sports Ventures Holding Company Limited (KSV), a subsidiary of NESV. UKSV has just two directors, Edward Weiss, general counsel for NESV and the Red Sox, and David Ginsberg, an investment banker and colleague of Henry’s who is also on the football club board, and is vice-chairman of NESV and the Red Sox. Beneath UKSV are two companies, Anfield Arena Limited, established by Hicks and Gillett which appears to be the vehicle for the stadium development, and Liverpool Football Club and Athletics Grounds Limited (LFCAG), the football club business.

Henry and Werner are both on the LFCAG board, and are joined by three long-standing American colleagues, Ginsberg, Michael Gordon and Jeffrey Vinik. According to the club none of them owns more than 10% of the equity. According to the Red Sox media guide Ginsberg, who currently runs Raptor Group Holdings, an investment group he founded, began his financial career at NatWest USA. He rose to head their mergers and acquisitions department. He worked in London as a fund manager for Global Asset Management before joining John W Henry & Company as a special advisor to Henry. He played a key role negotiating NESV’s takeover of the Red Sox. Vinik, an MBA graduate of Harvard Business School, made his name and fortune as a fund manager, and earlier this year he bought the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL ice hockey franchise.

He worked for Magellan for four years before starting his own fund Vinik Asset Management. His Wikipedia entry states that he made a 93% return for his investors in the first year and 50% in each of the next three. In 2000 he closed the find and concentrated on his own investments. There is little biographical information available on Gordon, but he is understood to be a former colleague of Werner, one of the most successful comedy producers in American television with credits including Soap.
