B-DAY11309 MyClubLog_KOP@Tuzla
(march 1-8 2011 Balkan REdS)

Intro...(and "happy birthday" Kenny & all True REdS)

its a "B-day" for Boss REds, Kenny and all those GOOD people in the "holy trinity" worldwide (universal)

"only 24 hrs from Tuzla" (the 60's song "24hrs from Tulsa" by  Gene Pitney was often in my head as I travelled the long route back from Tuzla) a few Years ago I travelled a round-trip of 500 kms to a dutch Liverpool Supporters meeting and I had also driven down to the Moenchengladbach-Liverpool friendly fans meeting to REDs "gathering" but a round trip of over 1000 kms broke a new "record" for me..

Kenny : "I don't know how long my birthday is going to last, but every day feels like my birthday going into Melwood

I know this feeling, when I feel the enjoyment of these meetings when we "capture" the special feeling of being a "REdS Supporter" no matter where in the world, or the ethnic/national origin of those in it I feel that honour , joy and fortune of my life and despite the tragic experiences that serve to remind us to enjoy the good times, I have in deed been "lucky" to have so many "birthday parties"...

As I sat with MD (nickname "Ms Doc" ) and Nina ("queen Rakija of Tuzla" ) in a modern Tuzla caffe where their "bling generation" drink coffee and watch Mtv whilst "chatting" the contrast was subtle but all the more relevant in the "changes" of society. the "teenies" watched Mtv, Nina and MD were talking and a song called "moldy bread" (ironically sung by a band called "S.A.R.S") that i like very much, for the sound identifies MY connection with the balkans and a cartoon of a poor man living alone who talks to his "moldy bread"  is in such contrast to the modern "bling (BS) generation"  here and Worldwide. The fashion -obsessed who have not grasped the reason that "INTELLIGENT socialism" is vital to avoid the cold calculating "victory" of a western society that teaches that "greed is good" and "image" (visual bullsh*te) is everything.

Kenny knows (and applies) the essence of a "GOOD Team" and that my friends is a GOOD example of a GOOD society ; where we all give our energy to a "colective" YET still allow the individual to score a "goal" or create for another to do so, for the benefit of ALL of us.

a "Boss REdS" party weekend

Maybe the biggest location name of any REdS meeting so far (makes for WIDE t-shirt design) :D

(link to pre-tour) I had been to Tuzla during my "Mini-Balkans Tour"  To meet Nina and her friends (Semir the unbeliever, and non-scouser Tommy) for me that was the real "investment" because I could thern trust them to do their best, despite some "small errrors" they are volunteers and ANY one who takes the trouble, to volunteer , for the beenfit of the "collective" is "OK" , and even if their lack of experience of organisation can cause mis-understandings I would rather co-operate with these good people than the "managers" of the business world I "dropped out" of in 1995. and anyway...Nina was clearly already well committed to the "Big global REdS family; and its "Balkan REdS" collective.

I trust her for that! "organisation" involves "management" and that "skill" is rare, to know, the same when a manager picks a team, what to delegate, who should take responsibility who to rely on and who could be counter-productive. This can only be PARTLY "taught" most of the great managers in football were not the "greatest" players. To know that special "touch" , the sensitivity of people, to identify weakness and strength in others and harness the collective spirit and motivate those who need it, cant really be "taught" -  people have to some ability in thier own mentality..Mentality is the key word of most aspects of football or life in general, football is important because it identifies the key aspects in us. and how we deal with "opposition" during this season, or through the journey our life.

C-Igor and Ivan KINDLY picked me up from Sarajevo (east, the "Serbian side"?) saturday , because of contrasting "info" ab out bus connections to their city (Mostar) I was as "concerned" as they were because of the previous time I was in SA, at 05hrs in the morning with not a clue where I was and no "user-freindly" information.but soon were "en route" to Tuzla in Cigors car , and with Ivans friends providing accomodation we could "plan" a night of "pre-party" (Nina could not supply us with info about Maumer's private pre-party, so we did "our own thing" with some tips from Ivans friend Emir) We found a "bling generation" club/disco which was "ok" but a bit "antagonistic" althought he guy in the REd LFC shirt was a "good sign" ..and I had some fun giving a young chelski fan some "stick"

Later we "tested" the "underground" pub-caffe where some live music had "crowded" the place and I was happy to have "discovered" another music location, although "dancing" is seemingly "gay" I was reluctant to invite any local lasses, though again most were of the age of Cigor, or younger. I just soaked up the atmosphere, we got back to their friends place about 02-03hrs, but I was awake only a couple of hours later and I suppose the anticipation of the coming day (and dont forget this fixture is the most watching sports event of 2 clubs in the World!! and THE club participating in this global event is OURS!!!)  ...

But First Emir's friendly family gave us breakfast, and another chance to taunt the young chelski fan with "banter" and enjoy local cuisine. It was too comfortable and I had to push myself to leave, because I had agreed with Nina & company to be at "LAV" caffe to set up for the EVENT, expecting Mirza, Mirnes, Semir, and big Tommy to be there too..already some fans had arrived and we had a quick "team photo" opportunity..

some Mancs were going to be "provocative" in a caffe on the other side of the "passage" but IMO , that would just HELP the atmosphere, we had Liverpool songs (despite technical problems and such) to warm us up with , we had banners and posters of Anfield and....a sign ("KOPirnica") which I quickly noticed was pointing at our "spec" (position) so Ivan and wrapped a couple of LFC scarves around it so it just said "KOP" ..with an arrow pointing at our gathering <smile>

Well soon more local REdS arrived and despite the (lucky) breaks and problems, soon we were singing along ..and the "KOP @ Tuzla" was HERE!!! ...

The game , we all know, "Sparked" by SUARE7 genius and the opportunistic Dirk ...(and mancs who moan about the absence of ferdinand and Vidic should recall that we scored against those defenders before and WE had lost OUR TWO star DEFENDERS in dAGGER and KELLY ...and FABIO went off early in the game...

and the debut of "BIG Andy"

The VICTORY & the game itself is well recorded elsewhere, I "asked" my REdSspirit to make this day agreat one and it was, the FEELING of immense joy came over me ("us") during the game, we became ONE big REdS family and those emotions are rare, in this cold world, and I defy anyone to say against it. Its UNique and its OURS! to share with you, if you too can BE ..RED ,,, and ...TRUE!

(photo album)

After the game, and some "taunting" of the not-so-cocky neighbourhood mancs we all hugged each other and basked in the warm "after  glow" , and we "funded" a sandwich (or kebap) for those who remained. I  gave at the "prizes" (mostly 1960/1970 LFC match programmes I had from the early days of Shanks) and MD was so over joyed to get the "number 5 shorts" in a slightly "contrived" lottery, she wore them for the remainder of the time we were there, a couple of us then checked it at a "pansion" for the night and came back to continue a mini party at the caffe, Mirnes, Mirza , Nina, MD, Tommy and myself with a few of us staying right through until the early hours, where I at least manged to get "Ms Doc" to dance with me, at "underground" <smile>

EPL: Five Things Kenny Dalglish Must Do for Liverpool To Beat Manchester United bleacherreport.com

In 1993, Sir Alex Ferguson guided Manchester United to his first Premier League trophy and the club's first since 1967. It was United's seventh League title, and Liverpool fans said, "Yea, yea, come back when you've got 18...

CS>... LFC Balkan Supporters Union ? Not Bad, true that our Supporters and our team should "get at it" from the start, no moaning just 1000% support , hope that Danny Agger plays and if we play 3 at the back allowing Glen and Fabio to be winger-backs , I would choose Raul, Lucas & Stevie behind Dirk (because you need someone to give their defence a hard time and take attention away from Suarez , with Luis loose causing havoc (like Keegan used to) it may not be the game to start pacheco, but if Raul is not 100% then maybe ..players like Lucas are vital in any team, to link play, especially with "pass & move" ..maybe "Big Andy" on the bench?

Whilst I agree Kenny has been arguably one of our best players and a great manager and his actions after Hillsborough make him a great man in so many ways.. the journalist wrote "The two Scotsmen who have made arguably more of an imprint on the fabric of English football than any others" ???? ..more than Bill Shankly & Matt Busby ??

Kenny milestones King-Kenny-A-year-of-milestones/blog

born 4th march 1951

" oh KENNY, Kenny, walk a million miles for one of your smiles, oh Kenny" :D

KOP>It seems 2011 is a year of landmarks for Kenny Dalglish.

A dream return to the Anfield hot-seat, the 20th anniversary of his shock resignation, a maiden European match as Liverpool manager - and now the upcoming milestone of a 60th birthday. Yes, it's fair to say it's been a busy eight weeks or so for King Kenny...

I still find it quite incredible that Thursday's 1-0 victory over Sparta Prague was the Scot's first competitive encounter in continental competition in the L4 dugout. It was hardly a classic but there's no doubt the occasion will have meant a great deal to him.
Several moons ago, during an interview for an Official souvenir special chronicling the 30 years since our inaugural European Cup triumph, he told me that the lure of competing against the best sides in Italy, Germany, Spain et al was a major factor in his decision to move to Merseyside.

He insisted victory in Europe is 'as good as it gets' and while the Europa League may pale in comparison to the Champions League, there could be no better way to mark his 60th birthday on Friday than with a belated gift in Dublin come May 18.Here's what he said about what it means to play in Europe - and WIN - as a Liverpool player:

In the past 30 years few players can claim to have contributed to the success of Liverpool Football Club more than Kenny Dalglish.
It is his name that shines brightest on the illustrious list of legends that have worn the famous red shirt - both past and present.
From his role as inventive genius in Bob Paisley's ruthless winning machine of the late 70s and early 80s through to a glorious five and a half year spell as manager, his name is synonymous with Liverpool and success. His love affair with the Reds began in the spring of 1977 in the unlikely setting of a hotel in Chester. It was there, as he sat watching the television that he took his first steps towards becoming a Liverpool legend.

"We (Scotland) were playing a match against Wales and it was a day or two before the European Cup final in Rome," he says. "I started watching a documentary about Liverpool and was impressed by the great team spirit they had. "They were doing well in Europe at the time, having just won the UEFA Cup the year before, so it really got me thinking it was the type of team I'd like to be part of."

By the time the documentary came to an end Dalglish had made his mind up. His future lay at Anfield. "I was really keen to play and achieve things on the European stage and they were a side on the verge of winning the biggest prize of all," he says. "They'd just lost to ManU in the FA Cup final and a lesser side would have suffered a knock to their confidence. "But you could just tell they would beat Borussia Moenchengladbach. "I'd seen bits from games like the St Etienne one before that night and you could see how good those players were, not to mention their appreciation of each other's play.

"They were a fantastic team and they picked themselves up after the FA Cup defeat brilliantly."Their passing and movement in Rome was a joy to watch and they didn't even have a target man up front."Kevin (Keegan) and Steve Heighway were up there because big John Toshack was injured. "The first goal from Terry McDermott was a great finish after a superb move."The team's performance just proved my initial thoughts right, that they were the team for me." Just weeks after that triumph in Rome, Dalglish bade an emotional farewell to Celtic and signed for the newly crowned European champions.

On arriving at Anfield his first challenge was to try and fill the void left by Keegan's departure to Hamburg.Taking over the famous number seven shirt was a responsibility some may have struggled to cope with - but not Dalglish. His class was evident from the moment he laced his boots and he became an instant favourite with the Anfield faithful. By the end of his first season with the Reds he had struck 31 goals and fulfilled that burning ambition to win the European Cup. "It was certainly a joyous occasion," he says, referring back to the 1978 triumph against Bruges at Wembley.

"Before you win it you wonder how good it will make you feel and I can tell you it was everything you would hope it to be. "To score the winning goal was fantastic for me and I remember being that excited that I jumped over those boards to celebrate! "They were great days for us. "I always wanted to be successful at European level and so to achieve that success by the end of my first season with Liverpool wasn't a bad start, was it? "It was great to help the club retain a trophy and although the side had changed a wee bit from the previous year, they had brought the likes of myself, big Al (Hansen) and Graeme (Souness) into the team.

"The management had a knack of replacing great players with other quality ones. "To play for Liverpool you needed character and ability. From there they gave you the education you needed to go on and win things." Life at Anfield could not have got off to a better start for the Scotland international and it wasn't long before he was adding another European Cup winners' medal to the Dalglish mantelpiece.
The 1980-81 season had been disappointing in terms of the club's league position but they continued to flourish in Europe. The Reds went on to edge out Real Madrid in a tight final showdown but it is the last four encounter with Bayern Munich that stands out in Dalglish's mind.

"I remember getting carried off early on in the second leg in Munich," he recalls. "One of their players nearly broke my ankle in a tackle and it made me a bit of a doubt for the final. "We already had a few missing that day but when Howard Gayle came on for me he was brilliant. They didn't know how to deal with him and he was a real danger. "Then Ray (Kennedy) grabbed a vital away goal late in the game. They snatched an equaliser soon after but we had done enough to make it to the final once again." A dour affair in Paris was settled by a late strike from Alan Kennedy. Dalglish was forced off in the final moments with cramp but his second European Cup success was more than enough consolation.

"It wasn't the greatest match from the punters' point of view but no-one really cared about that after Alan scored," he says. "Obviously it was a more dramatic win in 1984 when we were up against it in Rome but I can tell you that each victory was as good as the others.
"When you got your hands on that trophy it was just a sensational feeling and I honestly couldn't choose between the three. Being Champions of Europe is as good as it gets and at no time is one better than another." By 1984 another seamless transition from within the boot room had seen Joe Fagan replace Bob Paisley.

The team had also undergone several changes in personnel and yet they did not falter in their march towards a fourth European title in just seven years.  An AS Roma side had the advantage of playing in their very own Stadio Olimpico ground in the final, but despite a hostile reception the Reds rose to the challenge.  A Phil Neal goal earned Liverpool a 1-1 draw after extra-time and they went on to clinch victory courtesy of a penalty shoot-out. "It should never have gone to penalties," says Dalglish, before adding with more than a hint of humour, "We should have won it at the end of 90 minutes on the away goals rule - so to win it on penalties was simply justice in our eyes!
"We had beaten a very good side that included a host of Italian internationals, all on their own patch as well. "It was just great to be part of another success and another fantastic team."

The Heysel Stadium disaster a year later effectively ended both Dalglish and the Reds' run of success in the European Cup.It was a sad way for Liverpool's dominance of the competition to come to an end. The six year ban also put paid to the Scot's hopes of managing in Europe, a fact that he admits was disappointing."Obviously I'd love to have managed in Europe," he says. "But it wasn't meant to be. We had some great sides post-Heysel but whether we were good enough to win it we will never know. "What I would say is that many, many, many Liverpool fans enjoyed watching the attacking side we had in the late 80s. "The likes of John Barnes, Peter Beardsley and John Aldridge played some fantastic football at times and I certainly enjoyed watching them at the same time as managing them."

Dalglish's departure from the Anfield hot-seat in 1991 coincided with Liverpool's fall from the summit of English football. It was a difficult period in the club's history and while the Reds returned to European action the following season, it was not until 2005 that Ol' Big Ears was back in its rightful place - in the Anfield trophy cabinet. For Dalglish the remarkable victory over AC Milan in Istanbul brought back fond memories of past European Cup triumphs. "It was every bit as good as any of Liverpool's other European Cup wins," he says.
"You could suggest that the team wasn't as good as the ones in the 70s and 80s but any side that can be crowned Champions of Europe has to be called great.

"You can't really say on is better than the other because it is such a fantastic achievement. "Maybe the 2005 win was more sensational because of the comeback. "You look at how tight some of our finals were and when you compare it to them there is no doubt it was more entertaining. "There were all the goals, the way Steven (Gerrard) dragged them back into it and then you've got Dudek's saves from Shevchenko - not to mention the penalty drama. "It was a very special night." The inspirational performance of Steven Gerrard in the Ataturk not only further enhanced his reputation as one of the finest footballers to have played for Liverpool but also saw him join the elite group of Reds captains who have been privileged enough to hold the trophy aloft.

Emlyn Hughes (twice), Phil Thompson and Graeme Souness preceded Gerrard as European Cup skippers. On the surface each one appears to have very different personality traits but Dalglish believes he can see a number of similarities in all of them. "They were all very strong characters," he says. "They had that same determination to be the best and to win trophies. Looking at all the finals you would have to say Steven had the most influence because he grabbed the game by the throat in the second half and dragged them back into it. "He may not be as vocal as the others but he certainly stands out as the most influential in European Cup finals in terms of changing the game in Liverpool's favour.

"Thommo was a great skipper too as were Emlyn and Graeme. They were all great... very proud men. "They all had the respect of the payers and were big leaders. Graeme was one of the best Liverpool players of all-time, that's for sure." Few would argue with Dalglish's verdict on Souness' ability and yet when it comes to picking the player who has had the biggest impact upon Liverpool's European Cup history in the past 30 years, it is an unlikely hero who gets the great man's vote. "Alan Kennedy stands out for me," he says.
"He scored the winning goal in the two European Cup finals he played in. "The mere fact that he managed to do that is some achievement in itself and so I don't think you can look beyond him. "For anyone to do what he did is special. But when you remember that he was a full back too...it's fantastic."

Both Dalglish and Kennedy are just two of the 40 players to have had the honour of winning the European Cup with Liverpool. It is a proud achievement when you consider that legendary names such as Roger Hunt, Ron Yeats, John Barnes and Robbie Fowler have not been so privileged. Dalglish understands the significance of what it means to have won the European Cup in a Liverpool shirt but is also quick to point out that playing for the Reds is a distinction in itself. "It's a great honour to have had any association with a club like Liverpool," he says, the warmth he holds for the club evident in his voice. "To win the European Cup was beyond my wildest dreams. "If it was enjoyed by the punters I can assure you that it was enjoyed just as much by us.

"We had a great camaraderie, a great group of footballers who had a tremendous team spirit. We always fought for each other and did our best for the club and the supporters. I think that type of spirit resurfaced all of those years later in Istanbul. "It's a great testament to that team that they got back into it and shows just how special this club is."

CS>@Lfc Tv hmmm, now you are telling us YOUR favourites?? funny how you always manage to avoid controversy" ..the FC business is becoming "BIg brother" ?? imagine 4.5 million Lfc fans under Hicks (and his mate Bush) propaganda, our gobal REdS Union will keep a balance to your "modernised kop" ..!!

ChriS-EuRED>@kennethdalglish @LFCTV question 2 for KD = would you let me interview U( for "BREdS") & simply because I would LOVE to talk footy with KD

ChriS-EuRED>@LFCtv @kennethdalglish questions for Kenny 1 =would you be able to work with Rafa @ Lfc again? (would you invite him back to work with you)

ChriS-EuRED>@best manc moment. @LFCTV I am "an older" RED but stil think "doing them" 1-4 in their own backyard whilst they were "champions elect" was better than that '83 league cup!!

11308 (horoscope) You may come across as stern, serious or depressed today. You may tend to be serious, and your partner could misinterpret this as judgement of them. Make sure you let your loved ones know how you feel. You may find out that they are far more understanding than you expected. Gemini ; You may find that you're indecisive when it comes to issues concerning love and romance, Gemini. For some reason, you have a tendency to pull one way and...You might find that your desire to conquer is active today, Gemini, and that your mind is right in line with the urge to take action. Listen to this and...Your intuition is off the mark today. You may feel like you are seeing things clearly, but that is not likely the case. Double-check your paperwork, facts, or research before offering opinions. You may come to regret hasty assessments that later on are challenged.

CS>ob2
I was off-line at the weekend due to the REdS meeting in Tuzla, so did not see either of your last 2 messages ...and I hadnt "chased" you in consideration of your comments about you being my "target" <smile>, the people i stayed with didnt have access to internet and the service at the pansion monday morning wasnt connecting otherwise I may have stayed "up north" this week until next weekend, but last night i took the overnight bus back from Beo to Pg, and I am not exhausted after 3 nights without proper sleep (we had a great party at the weekend) ...pity, as It seemed you were going to slovenia ?? I dont know If i will be "ready" for another travel next weekend...how about the following weekend 21/22 mar.??

A lot of the worries you suffer from are self-inflicted punishments. You won't want to see it that way, because you don't like to do too much looking back, but the past is what holds the key to your moods right now. Seek out someone who you know will pull no punches, and ask them for their take on things. Some great news about a friend's good fortune could be exciting, Gemini, and you might spend a lot of time on the phone not only congratulating that friend...

CS>MD> I can assure you that I enjoyed it as much as anyone...excuse my caution in our early contact (*on line) but i am happy that you joined the "team" and we now know that Nina has good support for future meetings, there are t-shirts still available from Miraz at Lav caffe if any Lfc fans want them (km 10 each)

last night i took the overnight bus from Tuzla to Beograd and then back from Beo to Pg, and I am almost exhausted after 3 nights without proper sleep (but we had a great party at the weekend) ...

PLEASE Keep in touch with Nina and the other Local REdS so that Sunday becomes a good "basis" for balkan REdS in your region to build upon..

Your Daily Horoscope; The only good thing about being on an emotional roller coaster is that you never feel the same way for long. One moment you're up, the next you're down. You can't figure out what it is you want. Rather than drag your loved ones along on the ride, get away from your usual environment. You will be a lot better off alone. And something more important may come out of these moments of solitude!

CS>I watched an episode of "House" and its arguable that one side of my Gemini personality is the "footy version" of the man,(the other "more spiritual" side could be like a european  "Ghandi/robin hood"?? ha ha )  this story was about how a raped girl decided to trust him, and their discussions of the meaning of life (or lack of it) were thought provoking.  for me this mixture of energies indicates that we make our own heaven and hell, by the way we deal with the obstacles of life, the contradiction, the victories and occasional defeat, my own "solo life" incredible on a planet of 6 billion "beings" (most who are not "being")

I call on people to take their freedom and the consequences of their LIFE-choices as part of the price. Stop placing power in the hands of the few, and TAKE an initiative , if you dont like your life DO something CHANGE it and when you do this in a community the effect can be FANTASTIC, what have you got to lose? ..................you came in this life with nothing, and you can only take nothing away from it,.or do you have a different plan ? <smile>

*******

oh no! JO? (about Torres again!!!)

Andy Mad-Dog Lear> ol glad we got shot of him hes bin shit past 2 seasons anyway n dont think hes gonna get any better at chelski we got suarez for half the price & hes 50 times better than torres so good riddance rent boy & walk alone thru in the streets of london hahahahaha
#
Jo> wer im fuming now with the leccy place - grrrrrrrrrr xx
we well got the better end of the deal i just love our luis :o) x
#
ChriS SmiTH> I just feel we should enjoy the players we have and move on from moaning about what went on with past players, as I have said before Lfcv wasnt right in the last few years and ppl shouldnt just point the finger ogf blame , would be better off jut focussing on the positive than insulting explayers ..keep a bit of dignity ? as kenny does, in victory or defeat

Katie Lfc L>You know why do you hate Torres so much now

-Because you love him! , You want him all the best , and the very best is LIVERPOOL , that's why every lfc fan hates him and call him a TRAITOR , but in the soul ,you know he's done a lot to LIVERPOOL 3 great seasons! It was time 4 him to leave , but look it from the bright side , we got Suar...ez ? and Carroll ?
It's time to let him go Don't forget what has he done for us

CS>I dont ever agree with insulting present or past LFC players publicly , I was unhappy he went, but I feel we got his best years, injuries have cost his explosive pace, and btw apart from the previous medical team handling him badly (which resulted in the "infamous" withdrawal of Torres v brum) HE told LFc 12 days before the end of the window that he was considering leaving ..my generation believes in the "holy trinity" (a bond between players, manager and supporter) but LFC suined that by allowing people like Parry, Hicks,, Purslow, Broughton then hodgson come in and ruin our club, fickle fans who insulted Rafa were also to blame for what happened in recent years , so when some "fans" are so quick to blame others they should remember that we (LFC) were also "wrong" in the last years..thankfull Kenny is steering us in a positive way again and  the "holy trinity is being repaired" but even now some "fans" get on players back too easily, like last sunday , one defeat in 9 games aginst (wham) after injuuries disrupted our team and against a wham team that wont play better all season and the "knives" come out...belief and a biit of guts is needed ..on and off the field!
p.s
purslow now gone too, and thats one major reason for disaster now "cleaned"
btw - he made it clear when he came from Atletico to Lfc that a) he expected LFc to have sufficient players so that he wasnt expected always to be match - winner and b) he came to win trophies..facts are there ..Hicks & purslow broke promises and then sacked the man who brought him...then lied about buying players, how much loyalty does that sort of behaviour earn our "ex-management"???

if you want to BLAME anyone ; blame purslow, hicks, broughton and hodgson

Sameer>he reason it hurt more than any other player for me is because i worshipped Torres like a god. If you guys have read his book he says stuff like one day he will be the captain of Liverpool and he is determined no matter what to win a trophy with Liverpool. He spoke of his true love forLiverpool. But when a player leaves for Chelsea in the middle of the season in what has been the toughest season for us ever and than still has the nerve to say that he is finally playing a ta top club , that hurt so bad. He also never once thanked the fans, and also said he NEVER loved Liverpool he never kissed the badge. All Liverpool fans idolised him and than to have that shoved in our faces was beyond hurtful .I understand that Nando wanted to leave because he wanted to win trophies, yes its understandable, but it shwos allot of character when he abandons a team when they sufferign the most. Footballers are not as faithful as before. I still Love Torres and it hurts very bad when i see him playign for Chelsea. However the joy i feel when i see Suarez and even Andy Carroll just sitting in the crowd makes up for my Torres sadness. The two new strikers have brought energy and hope like never before and ifirmly believe that they will prove to be a killer striking partnership for Liverpool. Its out with the old and in with the new. SUARAZ AND CARROLL WE WILL LOVE YOU MORE THAN WHAT WE DID FOR TORRES.YNWA

CS>Sameer, dont speak for me, ok? read my comment properly because u have wrong info.. Torres was badly treated, its his choice to go, I prefer to remember the times when I was in Milan Marseille , London and so on when we "bounced" its not s simple story of a "bad guy"...and dont believe ANYthing the media tell

#
Sameer> 'samwise' Naik Aah that's great Chris good for u. U should go tell everyone u were the sh*t. Well I have my opinion u have yours and that the point

#
Andy Martin>Ppl hate mascherano katie because he lied about leaving. He said it wad because his wife couldn't settle in Liverpool, then when he was at barca he said that my Liverpool Fc were always lying about stuff. No he's not a traitor hesjust an ar...sehole, as for nando, he was idolised but I have to disagree about him being a legend.
Do u see Owen as aegend aswell? Because I wouldn't dare compare Owen and torres to stevie g and carra lol. XSee more

#
Andy Martin>?@Chris if purslow broughton and hodgson are to blame for torres leaving then why isn't he still a Liverpool player now that they all have gone? Even torres himself said that romance is dead in football and that money talks. Enough said

#
Lalit>Awte he was a sh*t in lfc shirt and will be same in chelsea's.who cares about him.SG8.YNWA.

#
Mahmoud>Mufc RoOney Look iam a manunited fan and i hope that on sunday we've a nice match :)

#
ChriS SmiTH> ?@Andy ,,,,,Purslow was still there "advising" FSG ....at the time was too much involved in removal off Rafa, and "dealing" with transfer like masch & Torres went, enough said? @ Lalit , dont know why you bother, did U ever go to a game when Torres played, do you call other LFC players sh*te? and as now you have "junior journalists" (talking media-BS) on this thread and mancs commenting too, its got no more sense to discuss, time to stop? as my dear old ma would say "dont argue with idiots"...so bye bye , and tx Katie..nice idiots spoilt by fools// probably the same ppl who boo our players! tata love x

a poem for the "LfcBitters"

His armband said he was a RED?
YNWA it said
but HE ALSO  said dont make me (match-winning) "solo"
thats why I left "atleti-co"

"the Kid" wanted to win trophies
and Rafa got us near
just because hes gone
that dont make HIM "queer"

Our club in the last 2 years was Infected
Parry, Purslow, Hicks, Martin & fool hodgson nearly wrecked it
so dont take it out on Fernando
made 30 million profit when he decided to go!

they sacked a good man (Rafa)- some fans bought the Media bullsh*te
and those fans need to know whats RIGHT
focus on the positive, we are back UP with Kenny
TRUE supporters, players respect the HOly Trinity

Torres ; a failure ?, a judas? , a traitor? , a flop?
we have no time for that , true Supporters ARE the KOP
we dont waste our time moaning missed sitters
if you act like that go join the bluesh*te bitters!

CS>..Cigor...
no thats fine , if it helps the "bevvy" fund I m fine about that,(staying in a friends home is part of the "experience" i like about travel, and living in different parts of this planet  ...20-30 years go I often took my car everywhere in "near europe"  , it was easier (apart from long distances by inter-city  trains & planes that is) ..and until I came here , most places had what is known as a "bus schedule"  (and bus stops had that printed on each one, with the line number and times) very "futuristic" eh?? lol  (if you arent there when I arrive in SA, i will wait in the bus station caffe, ciao!? )

CS>The reason I carried my Laptop etc in my overnight bag, was that still the "bugs" sent to my comms have fouled up the copying so I couldnt copy the Liverpool audio-visual songs to disc...i hate "them" ;)

11302 (horoscope)Use your creativity to make things happen today, Gemini. Remember that creativity doesn't always take the form of a finished product. Use it to come up with innovative ways to approach a task, project, or problem. Trust in your ability to discover such possibilities. You're an intelligent and creative person. Combine the two to make an unbeatable tool for finding solutions to almost anything

. ("queenie" in panic?..re-arrange the programme for sunday) good idea to take Ltop etc

11301 Daily Horoscope Today, Gemini, your ability to stand up for your decisions and not let others sway you may be enhanced.
