Its like being on a "Universal TITanic" ..I got off when I woke up to the "design flaws" in (easter 1995 coma) ..and I am CRAZY  enough to go back in the "icy waters" of the so-called human(?) race to try to rescue some survivors, and I get various reactions..

* the sort of people who would stand on my head, drown me, and steal my "lifeboat" or even worse prfeer to SINK it than face the truth???

* the sort of people that BITE my hand as I extend it ..

* and some people who just say "ChriS is Crazy, I would rather drown on my own than accept help from a stranger/nutter" <smile> (despite them sinking in a sea that is full of selfish morons, sharks and money/power mad idiots that tell them "greed is good" , or " you must fear the stranger")
 

THE best "society" is a great Team...where  individuals develop and express themselves whilst still being mindful of the team ethics...when all we need to overcome all adversity is honest co-operatioon and sharind of the load and the rewards..but on the other side, these people think they will "survive" without me, true they will "exist" but will they LIVE?...sometimes I feel like I  have this ID of the guy in "city of Angels" and maybe should really leave the humans alone, but cant...<smile>

Dear Sue, LFC

My sister and myself ask for your kind help or advice regarding tickets for Liverpool home game vs. Tottenham on 15th May.
We are from Croatia, so unfortunately, because of the distance (and costs, of course) it is not possible for us to travel so often to Liverpool (we were there last April, and had a really great time!).

We would really like to travel to Liverpool this season too, but besides all other problems with organisation, the biggest problem is obtaining tickets for the game. I have a valid Membership card, but as I understood the rules, in order to buy a ticket, I should already have certain numbers of tickets purchased on my Card (which is not possible because we live so far away...).

Also, if there is only possibility to buy one ticket per Member? That is also a problem, because I need two tickets, for my sister and myself (we are both Liverpool supporters). As we need to organise flights and accommodation in advance, we would really appreciate your help to buy tickets through the Club, and if it is possible in any way, we would like 2 tickets using my credit card and member card number. (see below)

(I grieve for those I have lost, and  also for those I am about to lose, most frustrating is when I meet people with the potential to LIVE, to have a positive effect but they sucked under the current of the "sinkig YIYanic and wont let me help them, their "friends" colleagues or family insist on them fulfilling their "obligations" to a system that has already "hit the iceberg" a long time ago...

I just had a "petty discussion" with a "neighbour" ..(NOT Milos) i saw him only once before ,obviously, from the time I have been in Pg, I realise local people feel they dont need or dont want to benefit from my contacts or unique abilities/experience , nor social contact , so its their choice ( loss ) not mine...I am not "chasing" the hostel man..or anyone..I have offered my time freely to help local people but they refuse the hand of friendship..!

The area outside should be green grass but is  covered with rubbish, the supermarkets give out plastic bags like its a competition on how many they can give away ........ it is possible to make a garden at the side of the house, I would like to do this as a ""hobby" maybe also plant some vegetables..and  the land in front of the building , belonging to  the owners family  or the local community would make an ideal play-area for kids.

b) a heavy "discussion" with a local "fan" who simply started with "f**king this " and "f**king that" "go back to england" etc etc ..so has  no respect , & made racist comments, which i could have reported , but didnt, so I dont answer anything from him, i dont owe  any explanation, ..and so wont make excuses for them...you know racists are wrong, and they caused the problema, not me.. but I will PROvoke them .those guys didnt bother about any respect, and its not the first time....and if they want to answer me, themselves , they can do so... when anyone acts against the "Liverpool way" in a group with LFC in its title, i will make it clear ...and i am not intimidated , I have travelled half the world, and i am not a man of straw

.... this looks like a meeting report n order to make my stay longer  meet some of new  friends..and develop more "relations" :D I want to know AM as my first "priority" . we didnt have "toffee" yet and she had a fight with a lady from a Commission on a the project her NGO is in.. I keep good notes, on everything , so be warned , my mind keeps a note of every event, anything  will be recorded in my mind = so often ppl say something during a meeting ...in our case It wasnt that but sort of a "date" (?) and then "forget" ..I am not gonna let them get off easily  but they just o tell me what they  want from me ...:D  to know a bit about this strange "alien" and I want to get to know more about AM..

Some people say they are not interested in  "changing the world" .BUT what when the world affects everything they do, they really are saying "its not my problem" but it IS! its everyones problem, and corruption & pollution is the price of apathy or ignorance ...AM likes arts, literature, music...is deeply emotional and sometimes not the happiest person, too many difficulties in her life.. did everything alone with only minimum support from  family...so still trying to work out what are priorities in life..  not pragmatic but thinks she must bein order to survive.. and definitely don't like it. likes exploring, doing things in her way, i  to study and appreciate knowledge as the greatest value of a person.. she said that us why she liked my  company and i  need to share  knowledge and experience but sometimes people are too proud (as I said that night) and want to do something themselves in order to have it )all) for their own ;) AM  would like to learn .. the only question is "what really and when" ;)

I thanked her for that , I "pushed" deiberately because then i find out what people  are all about, and she then told me ..I did too much talking last time.. sunday wasnt the time for "depth" and I DO appreciate being involved..i have found there is always a "reason" why i "provoke" some people, and others i simply ignore, I like AM, and saying that may get mis-interpreted, its that simple..I like her , i have always been a loner..but respect & support social importance..and I am also emotional very deep, as I lost all the people I ever loved and i can surely empathise with her ..I did everthing alone, or managed other people, I tried to share with wives/partners but either I was a busines machine (first life) or they cheated me (2nd life) or i was simply too powerful..or they disappeared and died ..i dont want that, just know i am here, and if  asked what and when ? ..thats really y-our choice, and i cant do anything unless  someone is  willing..i will make my own way, i wish you all a good day, and good  health and peace of mind , take some time for yourself..and maybe even write  a list, or things you want in your life or, if you cant do that , list what you dont want :D

    Dont want to really mention the traitor but he said last week there is a horrible mood at the club well I can see our players being pissed off with the tip lip he had on him for the past 2 seasons, but it runs deeper than that and maybe there is some truth in what he said.
    And nights like last night give him a valid reason for leaving and its the first time Ive admitted it I am bitter and hope he wins fuck all BTW, we where so bouyant when the king came back things where looking up but then the team reverts to type again and again.

    Our away form is awful has been for a few years, they have put in some absolute sh-t performances again dross Jeckyle & Hyde still rears its ugly head year in year out. Its a vicous cycle that wont seem to go away.  There is no winning mentality, there is no desire to win every game, theres no busting a gut to get a win unless its against Chelsea & The Mancs we beat them are full of confidence then are shite in the next game against Wigan or some other shit.

    What are we? Or what have we become rather? Game raisers against our rivals like Everton do against us, because from where Im sitting its starting to feel that way. No Europe next season even if the Europa league is crap could have a very damaging effect on us for years to come.  Worrying times ahead if the correct decisions, the correct manager and players are not installed NESV need to show and match our ambitions otherwise we can forget winning anything in the foreseeable future.

    One more point if and I mean if there are certain players running the show at our club they need to be shown the door in the summer, dont care who they are !!!!

I wish the lad would have went to a better club and done it with a bit more grace. But I don't blame him for bailing out. What is interesting is that, despite the incredible individual talent at the Nou Camp — they had three nominees for World Player of the Year — the team is king. The first-team players have been educated to play a certain way since they were kids. If you went to see the B team, I bet their style is very similar to the style we saw against Arsenal. I think the Barcelona players look great because they play in a system where they trust everyone around them. Maybe if you took them out and stuck them somewhere else, you’d realise that individually they aren’t quite as great as you thought.

Even Messi, one of the most talented players you’ll ever see, wasn’t quite the same when he was taken outside the Barcelona comfort zone and played for Argentina in the World Cup. It is not a criticism of him, just a compliment to the methods that they use at the Nou Camp. Whatever ability their players have, it is tutored and doctored in the right way. And they make their team-mates look better as well. So, who can beat Barcelona now? Chelsea were beaten over two legs by the Spanish champions in 2009 and it’s debatable whether they have improved since then, while Barcelona most certainly have by adding David Villa.
Manchester United were beaten quite comfortably in the 2009 final, while even the Mourinho effect did not help Real Madrid at the Nou Camp in 2010.

Inter did pull off a famous two-leg victory against Barcelona last year but the record books show that they still won only one game out of the four they played against Guardiola’s men in the Champions League. And they may not make the quarter-finals anyway, having lost the first leg at home against Bayern Munich.
Tottenham have done fantastically well to reach the last eight and Harry Redknapp is not defensively naive despite his reputation as an attacking manager but they still won’t want Barca. My dark horses for a good run are Shakhtar Donetsk. They are a really good attacking team and going to Ukraine is always a tricky game.  But irrespective of who Barcelona face, you’d fancy them now. Youngsters today should be glad they are able to watch a team who compare with anything their fathers — or grandfathers — saw in the past.

Billions watch the Premier League, TV companies pay enormous amounts to screen games and players deserve to get part of that. Maybe clubs could subsidise prices because of the TV cash they receive. But you can’t always let in people for a fiver if season-ticket holders have already paid much more.

As a Liverpool supporter for 35 years, I wonder how the great pass-and-move sides we had in the 1970-80s would have coped with Barcelona’s passing and movement against Arsenal. It was phenomenal, up there with anything I remember from the great Liverpool teams.

Football for Equality Seminar in Bratislava addresses Roma Exclusion and Homophobia

Call for Participation

A European seminar to be hosted by the Slovak FARE partner organization - People against Racism - will focus on issues of anti-Roma prejudice and discrimination as well as homophobia in sport in Central and Eastern Europe.

The event takes place on 8-10 April in the Slovak capital Bratislava  and will attract a group of 30 anti-discrimination NGOs, ethnic minority and migrant organisations, LGBT sport groups, football governing bodies and fan organisations from within the European Union. The activists, experts and football administrators will discuss ways of tackling the widespread discrimination of Roma communities through the medium of football and explore the potential of football as a tool to foster the social inclusion of Roma.

The president of Ludia Proti Rasizmu, Irena BIHARIOVA, who is a Roma herself, said

"Entrenched structural discrimination prohibits the active participation of Roma. For them the idea of sport as a leveller or as a means of enhancing personal and collective development is far removed from the reality. Football in Central and Eastern Europe can play a vital role in addressing the widespread discrimination of Roma and creating a space of equality."

Counteract the silence surrounding homophobia = The other main issues to be discussed at the Football for Equality seminar will be the challenges facing Lesbian and Gay athletes and footballers across Europe. Performing professional sport and being a successful athlete while being gay are usually seen as a total contradiction. Open discrimination based on sexual orientation still poses a big problem in football in particular. The seminar will feature two workshops covering- Roma Inclusion Through Football and Challenging Homophobia in Central and Eastern European Sport. The workshops will be followed by plenary sessions on the anti-discrimination activities related to the UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine - the first major football tournament in Eastern Europe - and also discuss future initiatives.

Call for Participation

The organizers will give 10 sport-related grass-roots organisations - preferably Roma or LGBT activists - the opportunity to participate for free in the seminar.
If you are interested in attending the seminar, please fill in the Registration Form (download below) and return it to futbal@rasizmus.sk <mailto:futbal@rasizmus.sk> , by 25 March, 2011 (12:00 CET).The organizers - People Against Racism - will cover your travel, accommodation and catering expenses related to the seminar. Background to the Project

The project "Football for Equality- Challenging racist and homophobic stereotypes in and through football" is a European initiative carried out by various partner organisations linked to the FARE network together with the European Gay and Lesbian Sports Federation (EGLSF). The project started in autumn 2009 and is co-financed by the Fundamental Rights and Citizenship programme of the European Commission.

To conclude part one of the Football for Equality project, the Slovak project partner Ludia Proti Rasizmu (People against Racism) will host a closing seminar in cooperation with FairPlay- VIDC.

The seminar forms also part of the Unite Against Racism Development Programme in Eastern Europe (EEDP) which is a long term project of the FARE Network funded by UEFA. Its main goal is to create an anti-racist foothold and activities, aimed towards the upcoming UEFA EURO 2012 in Poland and Ukraine. This project, based in Poland, runs also in Slovakia, Ukraine and Hungary. People against Racism are the national coordinators of the EEDP project in Slovakia.
