For generations Football has been the (beautiful) game of the people , in recent years corporations & mainstream media  have turned it into a virtual business solely for the benefit of the rich  & corporate Vultures ; E.L.S.U.N will fight (using LFC as first target acquisition) to return football ("soccer") to the global society; As LIVERPOOL fc is up for sale and is a global "Icon" of  the culture of  a social community ; to ensure the protection of its traditions, special people's culture & the Anfield "home" and as the first battle to remove corporate domination of y-our game!  We aim to remove the "backstabbing suits" from the clubs, & the corrupt exploiters in the various football federations and their cowardly allies; True supporter ownership is vital!

the "The UNSINKABLE ship Titanic" was built in Liverpool, the unsinkable was sunk, according to history by colliding with an IceBerg, but look deeper the disaster was caused by greedy people & stupidity..Much the same is happening in LIVERPOOL today, and everywhere, one way or another...IN YOUR LIVES, and YOU are to blame..yes YOU!

Mr Bill Shankly ("Shanks")  came to Liverpool 50 years ago and he seemed to "synergize" the phenomenon of football & music created a "cosmic RED Force" bit by bit the "magic" has been affected, the Old KOP , Heysel, Hillsborough, the Premiereship, SLY TV , the generation of "video kids" with their "fickle fast food" mentality...the commercial vultures (epitomised by Hicks & Gillet) the media jackals and the TV pundits (none of whom managed a succesful club) with their instant opinions & the "saboteurs" who have had an agenda to remove Rafa and any one , you or me, are aided by the morons of FIFA, UEFA & the FA etc ; who dislike the true supporter that a core RED is..

but its not just football (and dont forget that footy is now a multi-billion dollar/euro/pound global business ) tainted by the USA - style of "branding" where executives are paid large sums of money to exploit the fans , hate true supporters who may just be intelligent enough to question what they are doing to the "beautiful game"..

fans are deluding themselves however to think than any "money men" that buy the club in this financial climate would be that different to G & H , they all want to exploit the club and its global fan base for their own agenda, the best IS for us the supporters (Worldwide) to own it, it exists FROM our pockets, tickets, match day income, souvenirs , replica shirts etc..if you just stop and think its logical.. especially with new restrictions coming in to stop clubs "buying success"...

to...Karen," I am direct, for whatever reason I am an "outsider" as far as many of the people @ SoS/ShareLfc/SaveLfc are concerned, and I dont want to waste time , energy and my own limited resources on arguing for myself..If someone else can use what i know , my contacts & abilities (until I had a meningitis -induced coma in 1995 I was a freelance global entrepreneurial manager , networking joint ventures and enterprise start-ups across half the planet, the project I was working on when I came to a stop was worth several billions (USD)..

I dont need to boast, I know my value , and I have not done anything with business since 1995, I decided to "drop out" in 95 and focussed on volunteer, charity , ecology , coaching kids supporting unknown talent & campaigning various human rights issues , (maybe surviving the coma made me think i could take on the whole system <smile..I "had a go" though!) ..

The current situation is made for me, to use my abilities & experience to acquire ownership of Lfc by the supporters (but worldwide) having lived most of my life abroad, I have been lucky enough to meet some absiolutely commited Reds from various origins that love Liverpool as much as I do, and this club is the one constant in my life...(i lost all the people I loved , one way or another over the years) ..if I do nothing else before I die I need to be part of it..or at least to see it happen for us..the big Red global family..

I am not buttering you up, by saying Shanks was my first mentor, I never met him, but I carry his book in my overnight bag, its like a bible and I have used many of his methods in management..and my facebook group was formed in honour of the 50 years anniversary..that aside..I cant be a "frontman" , and I dont want to be , I have always preferred to be a startegic organiser or co-ordinator..I dont want PR or publicity, but I have "provoked" people by public actions ..(I will explain if we meet)

I dont know David, other than by facebook exchanges, but his communications seem sensible, and I perceive you could be the one that brings the key elements together; SoS, saveLfc, ShareLfc and the Global supporters (inc my own network and the Balkans Reds etc and the various official & unofficial supporters clubs & fan groups) I really dont think anyone could argue with you being that "person"...I am prepared to donate myself FULL time to achieve the aim of supporter - owned Lfc and I KNOW "them" who we are up against,.

I am afraid that the people in SoS/ShareLfc , whilst "qualified" in many ways, really dont have the "know - how" to achieve the best for our collective benefit..so thats my aim, if you cant see yourself in this role, then I would "convince" you in a visit, I really will only come to Athens if you are really ready to consider such a role..although I feel, you have already taken a step down that path on sunday (4th july) ? <smile>"

Like it or not,(IMO) the cleanest way , is for the supporters alone or with SoS to take an injunction to freeze the assets & stop the money going to RBoS , if Moores/Parry are really naive enough to have not investigated G & H , and honesty regret the sale, it could be possible for the transaction to be found null & vo...id and the money paid back to Moores and then WE buy it from him..

We dont "need" a Billion to own the club and make a "peoples global co-operative Union Network" (which also encourages creativity and protection against the "suits")  a "billion" is less than what is spent on LFC related kit, games, tickets , travel , food and drink etc , worldwide , annually?
..just imagine putting just 10% of that into a fund which was then multiplied x 10 through a 10 year "endowment"...thats all I will write to anyone for now..but YOU could start the process...?

Waiting for the Europa league opponents, maybe I will go, maybe just to "demo" ..I need some fun, I recall Shanks writing in his book, about leaving the club.  he got "sick & tired with arguing & fighting"  he always moaned about the lack of "enthusiasm" THEN, goodness, if I found ONE person with ENTHUSIASM  TODAY I would want to marry for the rest of my life ..such is the way the NWO has dumbed down peoples spirit...

..They shut down my laptop for a couple of days, but I am still "kicking"..almost every internet cafe I use, gets "downed" for a while, I have had 3 mobile phones burnt out , my audio system damaged and the landline blocked, now for the 2nd time in a year they have cancelled my hotmail..I must be doing something "right" ;)

I watched (again) the film "Red Corner" with Richard Gere ...where he plays a businessman held by the chinese,
-refused his choice of lawyer, perverted & biased state methods & false accusations
-restricted access to his own evidence, "censored" /restricted communication with outside.
-defence disrupted by court officials
-police/prison guards arranged for him to assaulted
-lack of support from own govt. help without "assumnption of innocence"
etc etc

might seem like a nightmare, but is real, I made 54 complaints against "germoney" ; their "beamte" police, lawyers, attorneys; judges (6) civil servants & citizens...

and the NWO (led by USA & UK politicians & military) will force YOU to accept this as "normal" worldwide, if you dont stand up NOW!!

all dead ; parents , sister & 2nd wife died of cancer, son died 10 years ago, I have a brother whose maybe still alive but i dont know where..2 kids kidnapped by the germans - (have made 54 compliants at the human rights court) but if I try to visit them I get arrested /deported ..I only went through enchede many times, have a mate (hugo) whose a fan ..very happy lad of course..
I was on the Kop in the late sixties, not born scouser, like Shanks I adopted it as my home..not the city but the spirit that Shanks, the Reds & the music came together - I dotn like england team, I supported them as a kid, but I didnt know much better, I have NO allegiance to nationality, like religion & politics it only causes problems to humanity...

I had a BBQ (grill) and a few bevvies with local Reds Veli & Janko, (sort of compensation for not having my kids with me) I (eventually) got the grill going (ta lads) we kicked the ball around in the garden, few more bevvies, watched the final, told soem jokes and my stories of supporting the Reds, (showed them match progs from 40 + years ago) and "international round table"..

oh yeah there was a little footy tournament in S. Africa, all credit to Nelson Mandela - (and commiserations on the loss of your grand-daughter) this event just proved that national teams cannot match the quality of CLUB football..and the coaching of teams brings everyone to a closer , narrow level of ability.  Stevie tried hard, (wish he had showed some of that form for LFC last season, maybe Rafa would still be with us) Torres came on to help Spain get the winner, and a tired Dirk Kuyt left the field (never on the losing side for Nl this tournament!) before Iniesta scored the winner against 10 "agressive" dutch.

(note ref "our Kid" Torres ; He should have spent the whole summer recovering, maybe even could have finished the season for Lfc then had the op, whther possible or not, to risk further & continued injury was downright irresponsible..in hindsight , in a poor overall WC tournament, Spain didnt really need him,
if hes not careful hell become another "Mowen" -its great for some fans to claim "we had so many Lfc players at the WC" but it dont help us , who pay their high wages,  win domestic or european trophies and THAT is what managers should impress upon "superstars" too!)

I liked watching Ghana, the german youth played as a team , once again reminding us that a well organised team with pace can over come the "superstars" ...the african teams failed to show, and I hate the sound of those...V...............!!! (dont ever bring them to a REds game or I will personally stick it where the sun dont shine!)

I can accept being called "crazy" but IMO you are mad ones, for accepting the absolute BULLSH*TE that you ALLOW to go on in your everyday lives that hurt you, your family, your friends & your "enemies" aND destroys all humanity ..so you are to blame, not me! for wasting y-our life!

Background

I am a member of Liverpool Football Club(LFC), but the benefits are limited, I am a Member of the LIVERPOOL Supporters Union, ("Spirit of Shankly") However GOOD their intent may be the perspective is from a local management committee, I am also a member of "ShareLFC" which has also polled fans to encourage a removal of the existing Directors, with a replacement fans-owning shares, SLFC have also considered alliance with major foreign investors. However the "KO-OP Unlimited" concept ..encompasses the core targets of all the above AND streamlines them whilst providing TRUE REDS SUPPORTERS with a DYNAMIC Union with enterprise and a GLOBAL vision. LFC has always had a "Celts connection"  (the first ever LIVERPOOL team being made up of Scots and the inhabitants of the city has a large Irish ancestry).

 In the 1960's ,the 3 main passions I had as teenager ; Football, music & socialism were bound together so wonderfully in a team playing in my favourite colour RED, that "power & energy" that I felt when I got involved so deeply in the club managed by a "working class hero" called BILL SHANKLY ("Shanks") encouraged me to spend much of my formative teenage years in Liverpool, and certainly my energetic mother of celtic ancestry who was then regional secretary of the (truel) Labour party pushed me when she heard of the great Shanklys ethics. I currently live "poor" travelling on low budget & staying in economy accomodation in order to continue my support, and I get to as many games as I can, in LIVERPOOL, away or across Europe, and I sing along with the best of those wonderful world-famous supporters.

Prior to a meningitis induced COMA  - which enforced retirement,  I had more than 20years as freelance business manager on 3 continents networking/joint ventures & therefore have sufficient know-how of global affairs necessary to represent ALL members regardless of creed colour or birthplace. The 7-year project I almost completed before I "dropped out" of the business World was an Enterprise, requiring consortium investors, to enable 300 partner-firms in 45 countries to provide 500 service/product lines. However, although my private & public life has changed on all fronts the one constant is my 40 years of being a TRUE REDS supporter, through good & bad times - with a history of supporting at big games & small venues, finals or friendlies, The Beatles songs I sang in the '60s still live on on the KOP and RED power became an innovative- socialist way of playing Football ; "The LIVERPOOL way"....
 

Shanks & Rafa

.* "Shanks" took LFC from the old football league 2nd division to become " a bastion of invincibility" and a POWER house of European Football, he was my lifes mentor and I grew up with the "REDS" and the ideals & methods of Shanks are the biggest influence in my life and I have used them in my daily activities, management, sport , social connections & the coaching I now give to teenagers, wherever I am, all over Europe, supporting LIVERPOOL and since 5 years Rafa & the team have remained my "family" in a life that has taken me all over the world, & ensures I "spread the gospel" and whilst I am now alone I have been sustained by the "REDs" throughout good times & bad and these are some of the motivations that I believe push me forward to enable this initiative not only to SAVE OUR club from those who would lose the SPIRIT of SHANKLY buit to GIVE back what I have been lucky to have gained in the last 40 years or so. In the hope that kids from ordinary backgrounds, as I was, will also enjoy the UNIQUE aspects of the "REDS" as i have, in generations to come.

I have faith in Rafa Benitez, who has managed to respect the "LIVERPOOL way" of Shankly's era and add his own DIGNIFIED style of management, coahing & training strategy & intelligent tactics. The current Spanish players fit the "LIVERPOOL way" too "Our KID" Torres; Xabi ALONSO; Pepe REINA Avaro ARBELOA; & Albert RIERA are fast becoming "RED Legends" @ Anfield stadium, and across Europe. The "holy trinity" established by "Shanks" which binds Players, Manager & Supporters has been evident many times over the last 5 years and has seen Rafa's position strengthened in spite of certain Directors failings. In my knowledge of the clubs history it always seemed that "the office" never matched the wonderful mentality off the Field that people like "Shanks" , Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan, Kenny Dalglish & ..RAFA have worked for ON the field. Rafa deals with the english media with a tongue in cheek most of the time, and wont normally be "provoked" in to feeding the media headlines to fill their tabloids, (they make up their own sensational stories anyway)
 

REDs Enterprise ("we are not english we are...Euro-SCOUSERS!")

LFC have opened  4 "superstores" in the last few years, although the club failed to take advantage of circa 1 million fans lining the street when the team brought the European Champions (league) Cup home in 2005 for good (having won it then for the 5th time) ...there is no real European style promotion, and limited development of the special relationships developing across Europe (such as in Spain , because of Rafa & the 5 spanish lads in the team, many REDS supporters favoured the SPAIN team in the recent international match against ENGLAND) Not only can our DYNAMIC co-operative network save money, and increase the profit on "regular" sports products; from shirts to golf equipment, the fashion items should be extended, the range of products encroach areas once the domain of our sponsors, with 1 million customers WE CAN MAKE ANYTHING become a "LIVERBIRD" product or service, and the "GemNet" project I crashed in 1995 because of illness still bears my own name, and all rights of contract are mine exclusively, therefore, I will pass them over to "KO-OP(erative) UNlimited" to realise ; this could mean another 500 service/product lines bringing in 500 million Euros in the next 10 years, without giving away any control (again) to anyone who may not have OUR Supporters motives at heart.

This (and several other confidential methods) will ease the burden on the club and enable ..

* the existing stadium to be converted into a "cultural heritage site" - we would stop the destruction of the historic "holy" Anfield stadium by an injunction.
* grass roots development of kids & promotion of Liverpool way all over europe,including coaching kids the "Liverpool way"
* with our "own co-operative bank" we complete the new stadium in the "LIVERPOOL way" assist "poorer" members to join the 100,000 members "buy in" cost of 5000 euros  with a 10-year savings & investment plan
* Our members get up to 50% reduction on main line products, as we continue a sevice globally, the remaining 90% obviosuly should not get the same "benefits as those "committed" to the REDS.
* The creation of a Billion Euro valued Union - network Club also ensures the future of LIVERPOOL football club, with an administrative "re-birth" sheds debts that previous Directors may have incurred.

UNION - why Now? & How?

LFC have just completed one of the most emphatic victories seen in the Champions league over europes all time record European Cup Winners (r.MADRID) ...4-0! and if it hadnt been for Casillas it could have been 8-0 ...and the recent win at the Bernabeu placed the Reds to the top of the official Uefa table for the first time since 1985. In spite of the so-called "financial crisis" there are 100,000 "REDS fans" outside ready to secure their season  tickets in a new stadium by investing 5000 euros each. However, loyal Liverpool based supporters will be respected as their membership of either "SOS" or "ShareLFC" can be absorbed into the new synergy of "KO-OP Unlimited". Football is growing as a sport and a business World wide, IS THERE A better investment anywhere than the club that is currently TOP of the BEST (champions) league in Europe, which is the BEST in the World?????? thats why it is worth investing NOW, OTHERS who are outside investors or those may want to control OUR club, could be struggling with obtaining finance or even protecting their existing property/business investments. My belief in the goals of a socialist - entrepreneurial mix in the form of a co-operative suits our requirement so that is the formation chosen,  which respects & ENPOWERS each supporter and yet can deal with the "commercial mentality" of the modern world, having been a founder member of 2 UNIONS myself I understand the "mechanics". of such a society. The Best of my own creativity experience & initiatives from the past will serve the club I love the best.- despite my own meague budget, I have the TIME available to give to this ideal, and more importantly the BELIEF and WILL to see it through,as so many "TRUE REDS" want.

Why launch now via Spainish media?

- we have the "holy trinity" and should really be courting RAFA & the LFC squad of millionaires to work closely with us & ex-players   (despite Parry, i really tuly & strongly feel that we really need to SHOW solidarity, or our legendary past will be lost in a commercial swamp.)  I feel that SOS & ShareLFC have not really done enough to inform (or even educate ) the million + fans worldwide in the opportunity that perhaps more mature Supporters appreciate- but NOT if the english press twist this into a negative headline. IF we WAIT longer to activiate a takeover/buy-in FUND, expecting more members to join, or the "crisis" to end, we may miss the "boat" - we need dynamic management & effectively a global persepctive bringing the essence of SOS & ShareLFC together, as I fear 2 x committees could (without meaning to insult anyone with good intentions) turn this potential derby-winning racehorse into a twin-camel.

i attended the recent mass meeting at Zeligs(in the new "Liverpool one" shopping area ) on feb 1st , and apart from a lad with an irish accent who beat me to it, who bravely stood up to ask for extra support for Rafa - the "spirit of shankly" in the form of Shanks "holy trinity" (Manager-Players-Supporters) was until recently rarer than I expected, whilst the focus was understandably on showing the yanks they are not loved by LIVERPOOL SUPPORTERS UNION members, I really felt that it would have been also appropriate solidarity with our (unjustly much maligned) Manager ; Rafa at a time when Fergie, opponent clubs, the media & even some of our "fans" have been publicly questioning his ability & character. I for one feel (& fear) that we may only realise how good Rafa is, after he has gone.(if we allow him to go!)  The FIRST AGM of SOS has not been adequately "sold" other than locally, and it is my fear also that the true SPIRIT of shankly is already being lost for lack of dynamic before we even launch our strategy.

The S*n  newspaper has been boycotted since the days they printed scandalous headlines after the Hillsborough disaster which killed 96 Liverpool supporters; mainly young people, including girls, and there has always been a "jealousy" against LIVERPOOL people for the "rebel status" (example; riots versus the right wing Thatcher government in the 80's )a "cocky attitude|"  and "jealousy" of the WORLDWIDE FAME that the Beatles & LIVERPOOL footbal Club , the KOP and our wonderful witty & innovative supporters achieved from the 60's onwards, by the National Press, whose offices are in the cities of our enemies Manchester United, "Chelski" or Arsenal (London).

I was assured that this "release" woudl be respected by a different mentality of Spanish media and the "feeling" within the content be interpreted honestly & fairly.

"STand UP 4 (Football) JUSTICE"...European/Global Grass ROUTES network

REDS.....real Supporters of LIVERPOOL fc teams over the years have been innovators, of witty chants & spontaneous songs, & NEVER Surrender "die-hard" SUPPORT , arguably born of celtic influence in LIVERPOOL & promoted across EUROPE and the Global World of football...and ...........media/politics.

The approach of the 20th anniversary of the HILLSBOROUGH disaster is unfortunately marked by a LACK of "grass roots" Justice, the plight of MICHAEL SHIELDS is NOT a one-off example of a bogus legal system but just another (sad) example that is TYPICAL of problems EVERYWHERE inside or outsode of the so-called "DEMOCRATIC legal / political system" (be in no doubt that legal procedures are influenced or controlled by politics)

OUR OWN experience of the lack of Justice, is terrible , but it is not isolated , and since "9/11" the excuse or smokescreen of "necessary anti-terrorist security measures" have eroded the already FRAGILE existence of individual protection by human rights articles (UN:1948) originally won by a generation that gave their lives in WW2, a form of commercial facism has emerged to further enforce the property of the the elite, the rich & their political lobby. WE ARE CURRENTLY "celebrating" the 60th anniversary of the UDHR (universal declaration of human rights) anyone notice?...(maybe on the other side of the universe, but not in THIS World!)

We have seen how "casually" UEFA PUNISH OUR club's supporters, in their "corporate-bias" decisions ,whether its concerning ticketing for finals, or the recent FIASCO concerning our Champions league tie @ A. MADrid. I am informed by MARSEILLES supporters club recently that one of their members has spent a month so far "on remand" without trial for simply holding on to their banner at MADrid, (fans claim to have video evidence shows a POLICE BATON charge, indiscrimately injuring several fans, to remove a banner because it had the "jolly roger" on it!) - a full report has been posted on www.redandwhitekop.net (forum) Utube & the Marseilles (official fans club) website. These are examples that are KNOWN, there are thousands of unknown stories which are not captured by video or publicised because they are surpressed by mainstream media, UEFA, local authorities, corporate interests or government.

Can we use the "system" to complain?, almost 20 years after Hillsborough we should know the answer = NO ! .....in the UK (a so-called "example of western Democracy" ??) ....? I have spent much of my "free time" in the last 15 years in volunteer campaigning, and just recently the acclaimed "European court of human rights" (Strasbourg) decided to DENY a court date for an appeal TWELVE years after its original apllication!!!! - someone said "Justice delayed is justice denied"..

Whilst governments around the world bail out the rich & the corporates with Billions of euros, pounds, dollars, jen etc of money belonging to the ordinary people, (YOU?) ...when the casino called the "stock market" fails , yet when they make someone redundant may tell you its "necessary to maintain OUR profit" ...our own "buddies" Gillet & Hicks have been exploiters of the human market and are far from the financial saviours that some fans were fooled into expecting. & Despite the valiant efforts of "Share LFC/Sons of Shankly" they are still unwanted elements in OUR CLUB, and mark my words this is OUR club, no matter what it says on paper. OUR relation with the team & Shanks began the RED revolution and the RED Revival with Rafa Benitez & some of our RED supporters opposition to the "sell off" has a similar feel to it, in spite of the corporate vultures.

OUR game, which for many of us, is OUR LIFE, is being SOLD out, UEFA & their "buddies" would love us our clubs to all be on the market & a "ticket box office" AUDIENCE, they DONT WANT US, they virtually auction off our places in the stadium, hate our LIVERPOOL family, or any similar SUPPORTERS groups such as MARSEILLES or those in ISTANBUL like Galatasaray or Besiktas (yes & I know we arent all angels)...and anyone notice the recent "F**K the police" banner at a champions league match? at least some people around Europe are in the mood to stand up!

SO, what to do?...  I (via the UNofficial network of european based supporters I represent, as a mere supporter ) call on all of you who are almost ready to give up and all of you that are ALREADY prepared to STAND UP, to organise regular "STAND UP 4 (football) JUSTICE" revivals, at as many games as possible, we may risk ejection or arrest, but isnt it worth it -
???? many already STAND, so you should help those "weak ones" <smile> and IMO - this is not aimed at "appeal to power" to get "them " on our side, its to GIVE CONFIDENCE to those around us, to know that WE have to take back our game, our lives and own the CLUBS we love.

RED opportunity must not be allowed to be ruined by "spoilers"...

Since the semi finals of the then European CUP in Milan in '65 when we had our very good chances to be the VERY first British winners of that "Champions cup" denied by corruption. I have felt we are always going to be involved in extreme emotional times both ecstatic & tragic.

and also during the various generations and teams that we have had in the last 50 years we have fought back against adversity and opponents within & without.

Even Shanks (in his book "Shankly by Shankly" ) complains that eventually fighting constantly to get his way too away his energy & whatever his "funny ways" (and if the media today  think Rafa is eccentric, they would have wiped out by Shanks exclamations) the man that established us as a global force surely deserved a better treatment by LFC...

Even King Kenny, arguably the best player to ever put on the shirt and certainly the best player-manager in the history of the Football league complained of unwarranted criticism during his time as manager, despite the immense contribution he & his family  made to LFC & the community post-Hillsborough.

Souness, arguably one of our best players, whatever your opinion of his mistakes as a manager, had a heart attack, & GH, who prior to Rafa had given us our best success since Kenny, was virtually crucified for his substitutions at Leverkusen after his return from absence caused by his heart attack, when I see the unwarranted attack on Rafa, who has put us in our best position overall since Kenny resigned & certainly capable of bringing us our best chances of a return to Domestic and European glory since Bob & Joe, it quite simply makes me sick!

Some "fans" born of this "fast food" & "instant entertainment" generation could possibly be excused for their lack of patience (after 4 draws, 2 away & 2 Deby games, lets not forget that the mancs LOST both of their derby games last season!) but its surely up to us, who were part of the legend of the standing KOP, on which this forum is based, to make it clear that such pessimism is unwarranted and UNWANTED at LIVERPOOL football club.

The Media has written us off, our captain pilloried by the same & opponents fans ridicule him, our players scorned by the FA & our supporters tainted by UEFA, the KOPITE mentality I feel is the essence of our "holy trinity" of Supporters, players & manager is to rallly the "troops" around our Liverbird flag..to defend ourselves and show WE are deserve to be champion supporters.but,  If there are to be inquests, at least have the respect to wait until there is a a "dead body" ...otherwise WE are guilty of football suicide & losing this opportunity...

 Rafael Benitez has shrugged off his side's recent indifferent form by insisting they still have a 'fantastic opportunity' to claim this season's title.
Although three successive league draws have seen the Reds relinquish top spot to rivals Manchester United, the manager remains confident his players will soon rediscover the winning habit and keep in the hunt to end their long wait for a league title."The players know that, after a lot of years talking about being contenders, this is a fantastic opportunity so they are really together and you can see the mentality of all of them," he said. "The training sessions over the past two weeks have been very good. "This season, from the beginning we were so good, we were scoring goals and winning games and everyone could see that it was an opportunity for us."People were saying, 'Maybe it'll be this year' so we have created a lot of the expectation ourselves. But we are still in this position so everybody knows that we have to do our best.
 "Clearly we have to improve in attack. We have plenty of control and plenty of possession, but we have to create chances and take them. This is one area we can clearly improve on and we are trying to improve.
 "We are in the best position that the team or club has been in for the last 15 years or something so we have to be positive and think about the positives."
